Buying and installing fonts on a server

We would like to use an Adobe Font Family on two Azure hosted SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) servers. Can anyone give me a clue as to:

How do I buy/license the fonts for installation and use on a server?

How do I find out how much they are?

Why is it so painful to find this information out?

The font family I'm interested is Garamond Pro.

Thank you.

I don't have an answer for you, but it may help others to answer if you define what you want to do with the fonts. You're installing on the server for some purpose. But what? Here are four scenarios of many, with wildly different licensing implications:

1. Sharing the font for use by multiple clients in a workgroup (for use in their design, Word etc.)

2. Hosting the font for reference from generated HTML/XHTML pages accessed from the internet

3. Embedding the font in PDF files for delivery to the internet

4. Including the font in a mobile app

Please detail. Few of us will know anything about the apps/systems you name or how they use fonts.
