Common font size on business cards?

Most examples I've come across range between 7-8pt. Whereas my client insists he had never seen anything less than 9pt+. I would love to get some feedback on this.

In this example site there are a number of different sizes at play simultaneously when you choose the custom layout option.

Sometimes in standard templates font sizes will be the same across the entire card but you lose the emphasis on certain font bodies that way.  I will also check out the templates available in MS Publisher and get back to you.

In MS Publisher one of the examples that I viewed had mixed font sizes from 8 to 9 to 11.8 (or 11.2?)
