CS5 not recognizing font styles

I've just installed a font (Bryant) that has 4 possible styles: Regular, Bold, Light and Medium.

The problem is that Photoshop and Flash are recognizing this font but only the regular style...

I need to use the bold style but i'm unable to select it (both in Photoshop and Flash) - the only style that appears in the drop down box is the "Regular".

Is this some sort of known issue? What can I do to solve this?

What platform and operating system are you using? (e.g., PC Windows vs.

Apple Mac OS)

VERY specifically, which 'Bryant' fonts have you installed? Is this the

Bryant family from Process Type or some other?

ProcessType's Bryant has many more than 4 styles; Regular, Regular Alt,

Light, Medium, LightAlt, Medium Alt, Compressed, Condensed, Bold, Bold

Alt, and maybe more. And they've been available as TTF, Pro OTF, and T1.

A cursory look at the font names indicates that they may in fact not

conform to the cross-platform font naming specs that have been described

by Thomas Phinney and Adam Twardoch.
