Hi

In my company we works with an own style character and we use specific fonts. The last month we changed the computers and we use Mac Os X and we can´t install the fonts when we are working with indesign, illustrator, freehand.

all the fonts have .PFB and .PFM as extension.

I tried to put them in the fonts(system, users, and inside the specific program) but doesn´t work.

Please we need help

Thanks

Abe,

Where did you get these fonts? They're Windows, not Mac format.

See: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=25251 and http://www.asy.com/fonts.htm

Those are fonts for windows. If the font license allows it, they can
be converted to Mac Type 1, or to Opentype, for use on the Mac.

If you're ONLY using them in Adobe Products, I understand that they
can be used on the Mac if they're put into an Adobe-specific fonts
directory. I don't know exactly how or where (I'm a PC user), but
someone else here, or possibly in one of the application-specific
forums can help with details (e.g. for CSx or InDesign or Illustrator).

Abe,

Herb's comment rings a bell here. For Adobe applications only, go to: Library --> Application Support --> Adobe --> Fonts
