Futura desktop font and Futura PT font

Hi. Futura font is used as part of our brand and we're wondering if the Futura PT TypeKit font is the same font as Futura. Do we get Futura PT as part of the free plan? Thanks.

There are any number of versions of Futura issued by various font foundries.

The Futura PT typefaces offered with TypeKit are sourced from Paratype http://www.paratype.com/ and are not identical to the Futura Std typefaces in the standard Adobe Type Library in three packages (and also available individually): https://store1.adobe.com/cfusion/store/html/index.cfm?store=OLS-US&event=displayFontPackage&code=118..., Adobe - Fonts : Futura Std 2, and Adobe - Fonts : Futura Std Condensed.

The basic design should be the same, but you will likely find differences in glyph complements, metrics, etc. between Futura PT from TypeKit and Futura Std from the Adobe Type Library

Access to the Futura PT is included with the Creative Cloud access to TypeKit.

Is Futura no longer available in TypeKit? I can't seem to find it in the list when I search.

Futura PT has always been the version of Futura available through Typekit. I hope that clears things up. Let me know if you have any further questions.
