Futura LT Copyright ??

Hi..

I know Adobe systmes have that font is Futura Std.

I think the Futura Std and Futura LT is very different.

I know Futura LT is free font.

But I wonder whether Adobe systems have Futura LT font.

Please respond fast.

The font you refer to as Futura LT is definitly not a free font. The “LT” stands for Linotype, one of the Monotype font companies. They own the copyright for Futura and they license the font family. Again it isn't free. If you see someone offering a free version, it may be pirated software.

Adobe does offer a version of the Futura font family licensed from Linotype (see <http://store1.adobe.com/cfusion/store/html/index.cfm?store=OLS-US&event=displayFontPackage&code=1188>). Futura LT from Linotype is a newer update to the font, but essentially the same basic design as Futura Std that you may license from Adobe.
