Hi,
Is it legal to use the fonts that come with Indesign for commercial print use?
So the print documents would be exported as pdf's from Indesign, and then sent to the printer.
Just wanting to know if you need to purchase some other type of licence for the fonts, or whether the Indesign licence covers this?
cheers
mark.
Thanks for asking.
Any fonts that are bundled with Adobe applications and which are available from within the applications' font menus may be legally embedded in PDF files produced by the applications and require no further licences or royalties for such embedding either for printing or viewing of such PDF files. This includes commercial use.
