Currently using PSE 13. I want to purchase fonts that use OpenType features. I'm having a hard time figure out if elements supports opentye features, such as, swashes. Thank you!

Actually, you don't purchase fonts, you purchase licences to use fonts.

That having been said, most reputable font suppliers show on their website exactly what OpenType features are supported for each font that they offer including languages / character sets supported and often, a full chart of available glyphs available in the font.

You can use Open Type swashes, ligatures, character variants, and so on, but not in a direct way.

Read here: https://www.herecomesthesunblog.net/how-to-use-alternate-glyphs-in-photoshop-elements/

Note that you have to set the character set to "Unicode" to display all characters.

You'll find a bigger version of the character map image here.
