Typekit usage?

I'll be designing a website and a developper will handle the coding.

I'm intending on using fonts from typekit but I wonder if the coder will be able to work with them eventhough he doesn't have a creative cloud membership?

Thanks for your interest in Typekit! There are two options for making web fonts from your Typekit account available to your site developer:

1) you can share your Typekit account credentials with them so that they can set up the set of fonts (called a "kit") for your new site and then add it to the webpage.

2) you can set up the kit yourself, and send your development team the two lines of Typekit JavaScript that they will include in the website.

The "Typekit embed code" is the JavaScript that your developer will need to add the fonts to your website.
