I own Adobe CS3 and CS4 Design Premium.
I wish to use the font Bickham Script Pro in the design of a logo for a client.
I have been trying to determine if I am allowed to do this.
Can anyone tell me if I can design a logo for a client to use with their business and web site?
Thanks,
Stephen

Stephen,
As soon as your logo design is finished you will turn the characters into outlines and you’re done. All fine!

See my response on behalf of Adobe. Converting text to outlines is absolutely not necessary and in fact will degrade quality.

(1) You don't own the software; you've licensed it and own the media.
(2) There is no restriction whatsoever on using any Adobe-sourced font in a logo design or any other design as long as you don't give the client the font file itself. You can give them a PDF or EPS file with the font embedded and that is perfectly fine and compliant with the license agreement. Converting the text to outlines is a very bad idea. It can terribly degrade quality.
