Why wont the font I downloaded not show up in the pulldown font menu?

assuming you mean an installed font is not being shown in an adobe program, restart that program.

if that fails, restart your computer.

if that fails confirm your font is really installed by using in a non-adobe program.

does the font show up in non-adobe programs like a text editing app?

no, the font does not show on MS word or Excel when I pull down the font list window, its not there.
