In addition to what Steve said, you can install CC on more than two computers for the same person. You can only log in to two at a time. So if you have Mac, Windows running on Mac, and a laptop, you can install on all three but only be signed in to two at the same time. Click the Gear icon and go to Preferences to Sign Out.

BarbBinder wrote: Or just type it in? It's tedious, but can't take more than a few minutes. It's just a great query—well worth recreating. Typing it or trying Peter's new method should both work, of course, but I would go for Copy and Paste over typing, because I am lazy. The code I posted above looks like bracket, blank spaces, bracket, etc. But I tested it and it does have all of the hidden characters. So the easy way if you want the same search is copy that code and paste it into the Find field. It looks weird here in this forum, but it works. Here it is again. Copy this and paste it into the Find Field (GREP). Type \s in the change to. [ ]{2,} You will get a custom search that needs to be saved

And it looks like this when you copy and paste it into InDesign. Try copying this code below and paste it into the GREP find box. It looks blank, but it's the different space markers. If it doesn't work, you need to put each hidden character back in. Or, as Barb says, copy it from another version. [ ]{2,}

You didn't answer the question about what you are getting now. Turn on Hidden Characters and post another screen shot. If you have a tab character and want a space or vice versa, do a Find/Change. If you have a tab character, then set it so that you have consistent spacing. Does that answer your question?

Do you mean add a tab character or set the tab marker at 9mm? That would be apply a style.

Your invisible characters aren't showing. What is coming in now? You can use GREP in a Find/Change since it follows a pattern and then save the search to re-use.

Watch "Tracing Artwork with Illustrator" by Justin Seeley at www.lynda.com for details about the settings in the dialog box. At yesterday's Adobe MAX conference, he said it will get you 75% of the way there, and does not do well with text and fine lines. You have both. If you have never had Lynda.com, you get get a free trial. Otherwise, get a month's subscription and watch this tutorial: Tracing Artwork with Illustrator

When you use the Scale tool, it remembers the last setting. Is that what you are asking?

Hi Guillermo, Thank you for the screen shot—I saw that you have one Artboard and I had two, so I tried it again, and this is weird. With one Artboard, "Delete Artboard" is grayed out, as you saw. Here's what works: create a second Artboard from the panel menu. Right-click your first Artboard and delete it, leaving the contents. Right-click the second Artboard and delete it. (This now works.) Did I say that it's weird? Anyway, it just worked for me. Tell me if it works for you, and I would say it is a bug! Does it work this way?

Right-click the name of the Artboard and select Delete. You will get this message. Select Artboard Only. Repeat for each Artboard. You will end up with just the layers. This is in 2015.5.1. If it does not work, list your version!

Hi Maximm, Your question was to Eugene (it appears). To clarify, he did not ask what a page border is, he said, "I'm not sure what you're asking". Peter gave you a very good answer on page borders. Eugene was trying to get more information from the OP, because those of us who have been doing this for many years can frequently see two or three and sometimes five or six things someone might be asking and we try to seek more information so that we can give the best answer. Other times we might answer what we think the OP is asking and then give a different answer when are told nope, that wasn't it. So getting more info is usually the right way to go. Hope that helps. (If not, reply back!!!) Best, Jane

If I understand you correctly, you have content on one page and want it on two pages? 1. In the Pages panel, copy the one page. On a Mac, it's Option + drag the page. On Windows, I think the shortcut is Control, but it might be Alt. 2. Delete what you don't want from each of the two pages. Use the Edit mode to delete or Redact with Ctrl/Cmd +Drag to Apply the redaction. And be sure to change the color from black to transparent so you don't have anything to clean up. I like Edit mode when it works—and Redaction when Edit does not work—when deleting large chunks. Is that are you were asking?

Another vote for no eps from me! You might save them into both: 1. Adobe Illustrator (ai) with Create PDF Compatible File and 2. Adobe PDF (pdf) from File > Save As if you don't know who will be using them and where down the road.

If you have Word 2013, select the Acrobat ribbon and then choose Create PDF on the far left. This will use the PDF Maker Also, try this: Open Acrobat and then select Create > From File > and select your file. This is a user forum, so we don't have any info on your case number.

One way is to put a checkmark for either set and then filter to see the ones that have a check. A check can mean whatever you want it to mean.

Which application are you in? Photoshop? InDesign? TextEdit? Firefox? Something else? Also, which version? Firefox is 49.0.1, for example. FYI, Print to PDF is typically the last choice for making a PDF if there is no other way—one example would be if you are making a PDF from Notepad. If there is another way, you should use it.

Trevor.Dennis As near as I can tell, this image is the German keyboard. The OP said he does not have the square brackets. Otherwise, you are correct that Leonier should be able to make something work with your method.

I am sorry I can't help! I didn't realize about the German keyboard until your second message. There are people on this forum who are international, and they should pick it up and be able to assist further. Also, just to rule out the obvious, you are dragging left and right and you have your Brush tool selected when you Opt + Ctrl + drag, correct? (I'm sure you will say "yes" or "ja"!)
