3/4/25 using 26.3.0 and I just started having this problem about a month into working on one document. I have the preferences set to fill with placeholder text. Nothing works. I've got a lot of text layers. My document is 2.33 GB. I shouldn't be having memory issues though. I've got 48 gb of ram, 12 gb of Vram, and 2 tb of storage space. I've got my memory usage set to let photoshop use 70%. I haven't had a single issue until today, and I've been working on this one document for over a month. If I double click the icon for a text layer in the layers panel, the text in the document becomes active. If I start changing the text or typing, photoshop reverts to myriad pro. If I select the text tool first, then reselect the proper font and THEN start typing, it shows the correct font. Why is this happening? How can I fix it? ... View more

Hi @hendy_5450 As @jane-e and @kglad have mentioned the ability to sync files/use CC drive was discontinued over a year ago. You can still have files from our products save to the cloud as cloud documents. The first trouble shooting step I would try is opening the Creative Cloud Desktop app, signing out of the Creative Cloud account, rebooting the computer and then open the CC Desktop app and sign into the account again. That will force a refresh of account sync and the Adobe Fonts list. ... View more

J'ai fait divers essais avec différents PDF. Certains se comportent exactement comme le billet, même des documents officiels émanant de services publics. En faisant "propriétés du document"  puis onglet "polices", ils sont conçus avec helvetica type 1. Si j'essaie de modifier le pdf, la police reste inchangée et est imprimée de cette façon bizarre. Mais il est possible de faire un Ctrl-A sur le document et de remplacer l'ensemble par une des polices proposées par Acrobat et le PDF devient imprimable. D'autres documents par contre, lorsque j'essaie de les modifier convertissent automatiquent la police en une police différente et deviennent imprimables eux aussi sans autre intervention de ma part. Mon hypothèse est qu'il existe peut-être plisieurs sources de police helvetica, certaines reconnues par Acrobat, d'autres non. L'essentiel de mon travail avec les PDF provient de documents que je réalise sous photoshop, mélangeant texte et images. Enrégistrés au format PDF dans photoshop, ces documents ne me posent aucun problème, ni aux personnes avec lesquelles je les partage. Oh @jane-e I apologize!   I forget muscle memory makes me go a bit too fast. Yes, please let me explain. So, for example I have specific Clone Stamp presets  in this order: - "Hard Round" 70px - Hardness 100% - Opacity 100% - Flow 100% - "Soft Round" 70px - Hardness 0% - Opacity 100% - Flow 100% - "Softer Build Up" 70px - Hardness 0% - Opacity 100% - Flow 10% -  "Soft Chaos" 160px - Hardness 30% - Opacity 100% - Flow 25% The brushes are a mirror image of these.  That way instead of hitting keyboard shortcuts to bring up the clone stamp/brush tools and number keys+shift/alt to change the flow and opacity and manually clicking and dragging on the hardness slider.....I can just right click my pen, click the exact tool and keep painting on my tablet. The problem I'm having is ...if i click on any tool presets that are NOT the brush tool...Photoshop will automatically force itself back to a Brush Tool preset....stopping me from choosing my desired Clone Stamp with saved settings.  I tried to create new brush presets with the Blur Tool, History Brush, etc besides recreating the Clone Stamp presets from scratch... I've tried everything from full removing all Adobe products from my machine starting fresh, resetting tools, etc etc.  Nothing seems to work.  Please let me know if that all makes sense. Definitely a cool/stressful job. Any repetative tasks I have mapped to my tablet's pen buttons, three devices called Stream Decks where I can assign hundreds of actions / keyboard shortcuts / scripts at a press of a button and even 2 USB foot pedals so I can Save with my left foot and open/run a file prep action with my right foot without moving my fingers from the keyboard/tablet.  I realize that sounds a little crazy but the general sentiment in the Entertainment industry is "we needed it 3 hours ago."  🙂 (there's most of my Stream Deck buttons, though they have nested folders so you can make as many shortcuts as you want.  It was taking me 7 taps to go back a few menus tochange Spotify playlists/podcasts so I mapped the buttons to the smaller deck at the bottom to be able to change them with my pinky without leaving all the Photoshop buttons above.) ... You are missing the link icon (scale proportionaly) in the options bar. When it is checked or active, typing a number in either the Width or Height field will cause Photoshop to automatically populate the second field (either Width or Height) with the calculated proportional value. ... View more

Not that it's helpful but I agree. Generative AI tools like Remove work exponentially worse in 2025 Beta than they did in older versions like 2023 and 2024. I mean they literally lock this computer up now with the slightest use, when they've been around and worked flawlessly for years. I would LOVE this enhancemet as well. And yes, that suggestion above on UserVoice is exactly what I need as well. Unfortunately, I have never been able to vote, comment or post on that site. The only method of logging in that works for me is to sign in with google. I wanted to try and create a new account, but that doesn't work for me either. I posted replies several times above saying I contacted the plugin developers before posting the question/issue here. They replied that their plugins are designed to work with Ps betas. But they then did some research of their own and saw posts online that a lot of users were having issues with plugins that work in the production Ps not working in the beta (and, it wasn't just that developer's plugins that were the issue - it was plugins in general - which is also what I'm experiencing). ...
