Ok. But do you make your composition as long as your video clip/music or you just make a default composition with default settings and put your music in? It seems that you make it in the second way - and that is the reason that you have only 30 sec. of your clip. So you can do that in two ways: 1. Just put your music/clip into make new comp button - it will make a composition of exact length that your video. 2. All depends on how complicated (labor intensive) is your project. AE is a beast that can eat as much as you will give it to it, But please check: - how much ram AE see your AE(edit/preferences/memory)\ - do you have any big images/photos used inyour project - when you are rendering check how much ram/procesor is being used- do you use ray tracing for any 3D text/layers - do you use any large not compressed video files (and for example have those files on the same hdd that you are rendering/exporting to) - do you use add to render queue or add to AME render queue for rendering And the most importtant question - what do you mean buy saying slow - i mean ... how complicated is your project and how much it takes to render? ... Ok. So laggy video file can be because of file size. Big file is to big for your hard drive to play it back in real time. So how long is your file (in seconds), what resolution and what is the size of that video file, and of course tell us what codec/format did you use. As for second part of your question I don't quite understand  - you mean that before render your animation, logo looks ok but after render effects dissapeared? Did you make your composition 3840x1440 as a precomposition where you put all your photos and then that precomp in your main composition 720P/1080p and from there you are zooming in on them using camera. Or your're in one big 3840x1440 composition and zooming in on your photos. Everything depends on what kind of changes your client will require, but image sequence is in my opinion the best way any time. Why? Because if client will require f. eg. some kind of color correction - you can do that on your already rendered image sequence and rerender it much faster. Because if f eg your animation is 5 min long. and cilent made changes in like 5 second of animation somewhere in the middle - you can rerender only that part and merge it with already rendered sequence. You can also render separate comps/ layers individually (backgrounds, characters, foreground, particles etc) then when client will make change in only one layer/comp - you will render only those and merge it together when you will have final acceptation. So... you can build that computer but if you are talkiong about professional work - I would recommend something better. Now you've chosen older architecture that uses older processors and older Ram DD3. In my opinion the best bang for the buck for professional work for you would be: -motherboard with X99 chipset and 8 slots for ram memory - CPU on 2011-3 socket - DDR4 ram - if you will instal your operating system on SSD - 120 gb can become little bit to small Those are not to cheap parts but that is - for now - best base for start and really huge upgrades after your needs will grow. F.eg. you can start with cheapest 2011-3 CPU and 16GB of ram - in one piece, and as a maximum in 1-2 years upgrade it to most powerfull -for now - Intel I7 with 10 cores and 20 threads, and put 128 GB of ram in it.
