I realize it's a bit of extra work, but you can hold down Shift + Alt/Opt key then double-click the Video and Audio track headers to resize all tracks to the old default track size. You can then go to Timeline Display Settings (wrench) > Save Preset... You can then use this preset for all your Sequences. Sorry for the inconvenience and I hope this helps.

Brian5ECC Do you happen to have more than one instance/copy of the clip in your Project panel? If so, this is still an open issue that has not been resolved yet. We also have open issues with audio tracks not always properly updating and Copy/Paste then Undo not properly updating. Thank you for the updates.

If you would like to verify, the fix is in 24.4 beta build 038+. The beta version is separate from the shipping version, so there shouldn't be any conflict between versions. We hope to ship this fix as soon as possible.

Ahhh, got it. The sync occurs after you enable the option & make changes, so that's why you see it revert in the Timeline when you enable it (Label changes prior to being enabled are maintained, so that data isn't lost.). Once it's enabled, only new Label changes in Timeline will correspond/sync in the Project panel. Which doesn't help you for what you want, sorry.

The option should sync Label selection between Timeline and Project panels, so it should work either way. eg: change Label for clip in Timeline will change it in Project panel. Or, am I still missing something?

In the Timeline Display Settings (wrench) there is the option, "Show Source Clip Name and Label". This will sync all Label changes between Timeline and Project panel. Does this meet your needs?
