Hi guys! I updated and it looks like the Contextual Task Bar automatically turned off for me. I had to turn it back on myself. Enable the Contextual Task Bar Here’s the most crucial step of the process. Under the ‘Windows’ dropdown menu, an option called ‘Contextual Task Bar’ can be enabled or disabled with a single click. Be sure to have this menu option enabled, or your selections will not display options for Generative Fill.

Huion Kamvas 12 and Wacom Intous without the file PSUserConfig ours is not active, so 100% it is necessary tried Photoshop Beta 26.5 - worked for 14 minutes and again the same thing of course, if you close Photoshop every 5-10 minutes and open it again, then one picture can be processed in 5-7 Photoshop reboots, but it still takes much longer than just processing with version 22.2 Once again, the settings are the same for 26.5 and 26.3, and 25.1, and 22.2 - but only 22.2 WORKS, and newer versions freeze

The ability to type in math to various entry boxes was introduced a few versions ago and can be quite useful. I just checked that it also works with Canvas Size, which it does.

@Alex-print you’ve had some great tips from @davescm - I'll add that it's important to check the incoming file has an embedded ICC colour profile, the image colour space makes a lot of difference to its appearance.
Do you get a warning [about a missing ICC profile] when opening the file? Please post (inline) a screenshot of JUST your Photoshop Color Settings control panel.
I see in the screenshot you posted that did not check to embed the ICC profile, that is important.
The RIP should read the document ICC profile and convert to the printer's ICC profile.
Let's get started by knowing more about the incoming image file - post the screenshot I asked for above
You can learn more about ICC profiles here.
I hope this helps

Hi @amber_8798
I wrote out a long answer, but I realize I may have misunderstood.
Is Arial® by Monotype available to you in Photoshop or is is altogether missing? Here is the list of typefaces included with macOS and Arial is on the list: https://support.apple.com/en-us/108939.
If it is available, you will need to select your text and apply Arial for the Type face. It is a character setting, so the characters must be selected first.

Your mask is pure white so there effectively is no mask in place for the density slider to control. Click on the mask in the layers panel and use Ctrl+I to invert it to black. Now the density control in properties will adjust the strength of that mask.

With two screens, I understand that this profile business complicates your simple procedure a bit. But the point is - without this crucial step of assigning the monitor profile, the screenshot isn't accurate. And unless you then convert to sRGB, you can't put the two screenshots together.
So you really have no choice. Or rather, your choice is accurate, reliable and repeatable result on one hand, or all over the map and unpredictable on the other. Even if "simpler", the latter is pretty much useless.
I have a Photoshop action triggered by the F2 key, which fetches the screenshot from the Windows clipboard, and dumps a finished PNG right on my desktop. Doesn't get any simpler than that. That action is set to assign the profile for my main screen. I haven't needed it, but I could easily make another action triggered by, say, the F3 key that uses the profile for the secondary screen.

Hey, @Tharaka5E57. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll move your response to discussions for now. I'll need more info to help you figure this out. Please share the system info from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > upload and attach here.
You're working on Photoshop 2024, please update to the latest version via the Creative Cloud desktop app.
Does this happen with the specific documents? Is this image stored on an external drive or in a folder associated with cloud backup services? Working through a network or external drive is unpredictable & is not recommended. Head here to learn more: https://adobe.ly/3A2G2zK
Please share if you find a repeatable pattern or series of steps along with a sample PSD/TIF file with me via direct message.
Thanks! Sameer K

No, as I have stated all along "Standardization" of terms between the apps. As an example what almost everyone who has ever used a computer in the past 30+ years has encountered an Adobe Acrobat file. In the early years of the Acrobat file the user became very familiar with the icon and what to expect when opening the file. However, in the past few years others developed apps to create PDF files. This has caused some unexpected results. The PDF files are like a box of chocolates and you don't know what you are going to get.

While exporting try switching off/unchecking Progressive which is on by default in Photoshop and GIMP. Looks like LG TVs don't play well with it. I had initially faced the same issue; untouched photos were fine but touched up ones were not. This finally did the trick for me.

I do agree that it's nice that Adobe does provide options that suit different needs. I can probably agree that a one-size-fits-all solution is not the best way to go. The one point where I would disagree with your summary is on with the statement "PSE Organizer is good for home/family/hobby organizing..." I've been a serious amature, moderately successful professional, and now back to a serious amature photographer. PSE Organizer has done almost everything that I needed and I think in many ways is preferable for the kind of photography I do. For awhile I've been trying to think of things that I would like to do with my image collection and can't do with the PSE Organizer. I haven't really come up with anything. My synopsis of it is that it has a rich set of features, is easy to use, and has a comfortable UI. When I made my initial post, I was hoping that someone would suggest a cataloging system that I had never heard of before and that would give me a chance to see if it was any better than what I'm using now. That never happened. Fortunately I'm not in a bind and needing to find something else.

Thanks for reaching out.
3D camera tracking should help you achieve it. Here's a quick YouTube tutorial showing how you can attach text to the wall but with the same technique you can attach text to the ground: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1rduZmW_xI&ab_channel=SmertimbaGraphics
Here's a tutorial that explains 3D tracking in depth: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YzUa-Kr2ntY&ab_channel=JakeInMotion
Let us know how it goes.

The bag is not supposed to be red! 😅 You can see its actual color in Layer 0.
By @Sarah33764084xjt2
Layer 3: not sure of the purpose
Layer 1: red bag that you see in your document
Layer 2: solid white layer that hides Layer 0
Layer 0: grayscale bag hidden by Layer 2
Try clicking the eyeball for the top three layers. Is that what you want to see?
For clarity, give your layers useful names.
