@Anubhav M Thinking about it more now. My workaround now is adding custom button action for illustrator. This kinda solves the cursor moving, i dont need to physically do a double click edit at least i thought, i still see movement as when i click i move the ramp stop. Even when ive set the double click action. Not sure now there is a workaround for it It seems what does work is use precise mode. Where when i press a button the only a very small portion of the display acts as the complete area of the tablet

I think as soon as i started using Wacom Tablet. I use a Wacom Small Intuos 4. Again this is not related to the product, but i think a "by cause" of using a tablet. When you double click, using a tablet, the pen moves slightly. Its different vs a double click with a mouse, since then the finger presses a button and mouse stays steady. But with a pen and tablet, you physically move the pen and thus this can move the mouse/cursor in this case.

Have you set the opacity of the white slider to 0%, perhaps. You forgot to mention what you are actually trying to achieve. I understand the color gradient is working. But your outcome is not what you are expecting. See attached. Your right stop has 0 opacity See the checker pattern Noticed the chgecker pattern here's how to fix that how to fix it

Its not related to a version. I have this as long as i've been working with a tablet. Ill make a screen recording of it. I think its just the downside of using a tablet. Perhaps i should select the stop using "precise Mode", but doing using that makes it more finicky since i need to move hands away from keyboard to tablet side panel. You need to watch carefully as sometimes when i select the stop, you'll see it move just so slightly. At one point i enlarge the panel, this already helps a bit, but it still happens Ive made a script where i can collect ramp point stops. Noticed that in some cases the points differ in such a tiny wat. But this issue makes the gradient differ from the original. Which causes issue when its use throughout a document. I can solve this by either selecting all pathItems and then do it. However than again, it can happen they will shift tehn and be different from the saved ramp In red shows a very minor offset of a ramp spot

I came back to this post again. Found an easy example on the documentation api page. This one runs just fine, no issue. https://ai-scripting.docsforadobe.dev/jsobjref/Matrix.html#jsobjref-matrix I noticed your example gets illustrator funky and acting weird.

Im having issue for a while when i try to select a color stop in a gradient and trying to get the popup to show for changing a color. I work with a tablet and i guess due to the very small movement when performing a double click. Lots of times the color stop moves when i try to do a selection on the color stop. I tried ny possible shortcut, perhaps one would prevent this behavior. Does any one know a trick. perhaps change double click settings in Wacom setting i guess Even when using a really large panel. There seems to be very very minimal movement as i perform a double click. Because when i check if the gradient is still the same using Select > Same Fill Color. The object on the left is the only on select, even when it was duplicated from the right rechtangle.

I believe it needs to be a smart object, otherwise the trick doesn't work with video layer

Use a script to resize it or use fit command. You can simple record an action for this and than run this script. That's not so hard to make your self. No need for a custom build script for such a small thing

Perhaps a simple escape key press will work. But doing the save action is not possible. You can try to record an action. If that works, than you can convert the action to something which can be added in a script. I've done this with some items. But if it can be recorded, it can't be done. If you need to more info about adding an action into script let me know

@samanthac17988544 Not everything is exposed for scripting. Lots of the special dialogs and menus are exposed. I also doubt this function is exposed.. You could perhaps call a key press using script, but I think you would than need to send this code to the system. That's kinda tricky to pulloff

I doubt your numbers for CMYK are as the official ones. The real CMYK values differ from a color chip and then simply made CMYK. Appreciatie the work though

So much variables this depends on. First try to make test saves, don't save with extra data options. So no extras, no xnpndata etc. find the correct file size. Than it very much depends per image. The more color data is in your image, the heavier it is. By this I mean. When there are many colors and tints and hues, an image tends to be bigger

Use a tile size which results in a number which return integer numbers and dividable by 2. The issue is due to no rounded numbers. I believe this is both a preview issue but, also the issue which happens when expanding patterns.

You can always try web.archive.org It backups a gazillion website and has been doing so for years. Edit Sadly it didn't capture the downloadable links. I think I do have the windows versions downloaded. I can make a download link. But perhaps not nice for the original dev to share something without him/her knowing

Perhaps check your original file and see what happening in the xdata. See the file info, if in one of tans is a huge list with garbled data, it needs to be cleaned before you save. Otherwise it could be, this is saved as meta data. It could also be it's saving it as a transparent PNG.

I think it would be better he makes an action for the file which gets called from the script. That easier and very customizable. You could call allkinds of different actions before doing the export.

But that isnt simply an export and resize. You would need think about what happens with the background, what color does it need to get. You could simply add code in this script or call a cusro action from this script

I already started cleaning the file. I was an A2 high dpi poster concept. Ise use layer comps a lot and keep iterating in the same file, so it was already 9.5Gb when I saved it. I'm now cleaning it of junk and try to make it smaller. Also need to clean the system I guess to win back some space

Thats a (cursing removed) reason. If OSX has it now so should Windows users. Dont show a setting if it doesnt do anything on a certain OS.
Its ludacris we need to use an app to simply preview a document.
