It is not clear to me that every person on this thread is seeing the exact issues you describe. Regardless, we definitely want to help and we are actively investigating. GGreathouseKV, I believe you stated that a reinstall resolved your issues? Windows, correct? Continued detailed reports will help us narrow things down and assist. As the majority of users do not run into this issue, we need to determine what variables are in play here. For those experiencing issues related to crashing before selecting a file when using File>Import: Windows or Mac? Please list exact OS / update version. Does the behavior different depending on which hard drive you navigate to? Would a reinstall potentially change the default directory that File Import is opening to?
