You can run action while batch processing images. Can you record action in Photoshop? Start recording action and do things as you would do normally to resize image then stop recording action. See screenshot below: check Run Action and specify set with previously recorded action (first drop-down) + recorded action (second drop-down list).

You are correct, C, M, Y and K stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. Those are percentages of CMYK colors which are measured from 0 to 100% while RGB values are represented with numbers 0 to 255. Numbers for RGB values are creating color inside circle or inside square in the middle in your screenshot and those numbers translated to CMYK colors are represented on the right side: C: 4%, M: 28%, Y: 28% and K: 0%.

I realize that after recording video. Try to draw rectangle crop selection after specifying dimensions which must have px after number, do not forget that and tell me how that works. Note: you will have problem when using images with different aspect ratios. To record action for just any aspect ratio of image please watch alternative method (using path) which is posted below.

You must have color swatches in Swatches panel to be able to save them as explained. That's why I am asking where you have created palette. Usually I am creating palette (couple of colors for my project to maintain consistency in colors) in Swatches panel then saving it to Libraries. The very last option, if you have problem with other recommended options and you do not have color swatches in Swatches panel is: open Libraries panel then click on color from your color palette to set it as foreground color. Click on Create new swatch... (page icon in Swatches panel) and save as new swatch. In other words, move all swatches or colors to Swatches panel and then you will be able to save from Preset Manager.

If I can understand your question then use Variables and Data Sets. Variable should be: Text Replacement and you can load text file with all 1000 headlines then to export 1000 files with different text (variable assigned to layer with text and loaded data set) and the rest of composition will be the same for all exported files. Please read this tutorial: Creating data-driven graphics in Photoshop

Open set Lucky's Actions with 9 actions. Create new set (click on folder icon at the bottom of Actions panel) and give it unique name like Lucky's Actions 2. Drag 7 actions from Lucky's Actions set with 9 actions to that folder and save it as Lucky's Actions 2. Save Lucky's actions where now you should have only 2 actions to overwrite existing set (with 9 actions previously opened). Now you have Lucky's Actions set with 2 actions instead of 9 and another set: Lucky's Actions 2 with 7 actions. When saving you must select set (Lucky's Actions or Lucky's Actions 2) then to save it using Actions panel menu > Save Actions. To select set just click on folder icon or letters with the name of that folder (set).

In the second screenshot you have one action set (folder icon) with nine actions (not actions sets). If you want to split actions then click on folder icon at the bottom of Actions panel to create new set and drag actions from Lucky's Actions into that, newly created set. Save both sets: Lucky's Actions save over existing on hard drive to overwrite it.

I am not familiar with GIMP and if I can understand correctly what you are asking for then you can use paths and to stroke them. Otherwise such feature (similar) is available in Illustrator, not in Photoshop where you can use Paths panel and Stroke path option at the bottom.

When saving from Photoshop as PDF you can reduce file size by unchecking Layers. Another thing that you can do is to use compression in Save Adobe PDF dialog > Compression tab. Compression is clever algorithm which reduces file size and degrades slightly image quality but not necessary that much that it is critical and many times you won't be able to see any difference.

You can "crop" bitmap image in Illustrator using clipping mask and Clip to Artboard option in Save for Web dialog. Trick is to set artboard bounds to same size as clipping path. - See more at: http://adobephotoshopsecrets.blogspot.com/2013/01/crop-and-save-bitmap-images-for-web.html
