Try re-recording by selecting File > Save As or Save a Copy, or remove the Save step and create a new step using the specified commands. By the way, please do not alter the File Name field when saving during step recording.

You have the option to upgrade your version from what I can see. Have you considered updating it? When did it start closing while saving, after the upgrade or recently? Can you copy and paste Help > System Info?

Please specify the Photoshop version so someone on a Mac can check it on their side, as it is strange that the preview does not match the output. The data sets haven't changed for years, from what I know.

Testing on Windows 11 with Photoshop 26.2.0. There is always a difference when using tabbed documents, and you can tell which tab is active. It's either the text that is lighter or the tab color, depending on the color scheme selected in preferences. When using floating windows, the experience differs when the lighter UI is selected in preferences, as previously mentioned by @Jeff Arola

My guess is that an integrated GPU cannot handle the test requirements. Nowadays, some integrated GPUs can manage basic tasks in Photoshop, but generally, it is advised to have a dedicated GPU, starting with at least an RTX 2060 or equivalent. In my opinion, a minimum of an RTX 3060 Ti is recommended.

So you want a script or Photoshop to monitor a folder for changes, and when a change occurs, to import a file and replace a mask in a specific document? Are you running the PugetBench test? Which version of PugetBench are you using? I am testing Photoshop 26.2 with PugetBench 0.93, and everything is working fine. Could you please post the content from Help > System Info? It seems you have an integrated graphics card, or the dedicated one is not registered or in use.

From my testing, it is only sticky per session. Perhaps a script can achieve this, but I am not a scripter. I will tag scripters who can provide the answer. If they can write a script to change to Generative Expand, then you can use File > Scripts > Script Events Manager to run the script on Photoshop Event > Start Application. @c.pfaffenbichler @Stephen Marsh

I am not sure I understand your request. Let me try. If you want to match less saturated green with more saturated green, then use a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer clipped to the less saturated layer and drag the Saturation slider. If that doesn't work, try adjusting all three available sliders; most likely, Saturation and Lightness will do the trick.

You can rename a snapshot just like you would a layer; simply double-click on the snapshot name. You can use it even while recording Photoshop actions, but that can be cumbersome, of course. Each time, you must select Snapshot 1 and rename it; this can be a workaround in case you need it at any time.

A tiny one-pixel line? It can be resolved using various cloning tools or the Brush tool, just remember to frequently sample the nearby sky color when using the standard Brush and paint on a separate layer.

As explained by @Trevor.Dennis, to edit a smart object layer, simply double-click on the SO thumbnail to enter editing mode in a separate tab. However, you won't have a "live preview" of the changes made. The only trick I know is to arrange two tabs using Window > Arrange > 2-up Vertical, and to save changes after modifying the Smart Object content by using File > Save to update changes and see the preview in the parent document.
