I can think of ways to explore making the match - Remove [tool] the lace on the right booty copy the tied bow from the left booty to the right -or- copy the entire left foot to a new layer, flip it horizontally, replace the right foot with the reversed left foot, then mask out/remove to clean up. At my iffy level of experience, the shadow could be troublesome. That Trevor is speedy!

Raul, my initial search on the web for "adobe.com:photoshop takes long time to save tif" turned up dozens of reports. I've just read the headers of these posts and have not clicked on any to reveal the details. Tell us more about your computer and the TIF file while I dig down. How much free space is on your storage drive? TIF file details -- how many layers? File size in (mega-giga-tera)bytes?

Marcella, what version of Ps are you running? I see items on my screen that you don't have, and vice versa. Refer to my screenshot of Ps v26.2. The arrow points to an iten your screen is missing; clicking it will display the blue (on my screen) video timeline. Alternate method: click on "hamburger on upper-right of the timeline.

A non-software approach: find the document online. The text won't require manipulation and the photo will be much higher quality than a scan of a newspaper print.

A favor, Alfonso - back up a step. Is the original Landscape 6x9? Is the Overlay a standalone, transparent document meant to be Placed (File>Place...) into another document? -- edited to add: I tried to perfom the steps. I could have done something different than you did -- but I was able to change a 6x9 emptyLandscape document to a 6x9 Portrait document.

It could depend on your version of MacOS and Bridge; and if your system meets requirements. You might start here, riswest: Troubleshoot Bridge for freezes and performance issues I'd start with step 10, then Step 2, then if those don't work, start at the top. "10. Make sure that Bridge is not set to open a folder that resides on a disconnected network on startup. Bridge may not start if the folder that it is set to open to on startup resides on a network that has been disconnected. If Bridge is not starting, and you suspect that a disconnected network drive is the problem, reset the Bridge preferences upon startup to get Bridge to start. Bridge will open to the desktop after the preferences have been reset. See Solution 2 above for instructions on resetting Bridge preferences."

It worked and then it didn't? Probably due to opening a file that taxed the GPU. Photoshop system requirements selected bits: AVX Intel or AMD CPUs having AVX2 support Graphics card To find out if your computer supports Metal, see Mac computers that support Metal See the Photoshop graphics processor (GPU) card FAQ The GPU FAQ lists 9 characteristics that require GPU acceleration (like Camera Raw) and 8 features that won't work without a GPU (like flick panning, perspective warp). key -- "AVX or Advanced Vector Extensions are additions to the x86 instruction set architecture, which pertain to Intel and AMD CPU's that use x86 architecture." (serato.com; first definition I encountered in my search) "Intel SSE, or Streaming SIMD Extensions, is a set of instructions designed to improve performance by allowing a single instruction to process multiple data points simultaneously, primarily for floating-point operations. Introduced in 1999 with the Pentium III, it has evolved through several versions, including SSE2, SSE3, and SSE4, each adding more capabilities and instructions. You did an amazing job, Paul. No matter how many 5-minute tutorials I watch, I still haven't mastered hair. What sort of background would you like? Simulate a studio backdrop? Scenery? You already did the hard part, selecting the subject intact. So, select again, cut or copy to a new layer, bring in a new background layer. A few steps left out to let you give feedback.

Yes, it is a bit pricey for a photo-only scanner. I have not used it but I have need to scan hundreds of photos (after I take them out of their "magnetic" photo albums, a literally sticky issue). I have $hundreds tied up in orphaned scanners that won't run on updated operating systems, so price is a consideration. It doesn't help with with the 10,000 slides in another project. As far as damage, high-speed feeding of photos -- old, curved, bent, thick/Poloroids -- certainly increase the odds of damaging them. The best archive is a print; magnetic media aren't really as trustworthy as a print, imo.

Being "stuck" as a smart object is a good thing, Cari. Smart objects retain the ability to be edited. I'm not so sure about converting the text into a shape; I don't believe that step can be undone. I'll have to research. While I do that, you can play around with other work-arounds, such as breaking the ribbon into two parts, moving them apart, and creating the missing ribbon (maybe Generative Fill?).

joeyo, I tried Filter>Lens Correction>Geomentric Distortion>Remove Distortion slider on your posted image, but did not get good results. Perhaps with the original image. Give this tool a try. I could also recommend trying the Liquify tool to do local adjustments. I'll post my version if it does a good job. Sometimes borrowing, buy or renting a less-distorting lens is easier than "fixing in post." This is my attempt to remove distortion using Liquify's Push Left tool, but the chairs (tables?) look bowed. If it's just optics causing the bow, try moving the central portion to a new layer an Transform the chairs. Crude method.

Liz, before the advent of Lightroom, I used Bridge as my front end for importing and editing my photos but I never bothered using keywords. Lightroom, Photo Mechanic are probably better choices than Bridge imo. As far as your request, I searched adobe.com for "Bridge is not finding all my images" and found a helpful webpage created by AI. The search ended up here. And in case we need Adobe's take on Bridge keywording, check out the article, Use keywords in Adobe Bridge.

hhost, as long as we're asking for a miracle solution, double-sided scanning would be great. One of the difficult parts of scanning larger numbers of prints is turning the prints over to find ID, then naming the file (people)_yymmdd.jpg. 4 prints/scan = 250 passes, ignoring the crop & straighten/save as separate files. In my experience, I minimized that mess by aligning the prints on the scanner glass as carefully as I could (at the cost of taking even more time).I saved the "contact-sheet file to go back to manually rotate and crop the files with which I had trouble. Maybe look into buying or renting a dedicated photo scanner? [old name brand] digital film scanners on Amazon, $405US and up are possibilities. Skewing can occur when using motorized feeders [automatic document feeder], but it could be helpful. For our sakes, maybe someone else in the community has a better solution.

I think I know how to upload an image in the Generate Image dialog but I had a frustrating time of it. My expectation is that my result looked as if the reference image was just a suggestion. I can record a QuickTime movie to demonstrate what I did do if that woule help the conversation. As far as the alleged violation of standards, check out Adobe Generative AI User Guidelines Rule #2 may be the red flag. 2. Be Respectful and Safe Do not use Adobe’s generative AI features to attempt to create, upload, or share abusive, or illegal, or content that violates the rights of others. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: Pornographic material or explicit nudity Hateful or highly offensive content that attacks or dehumanizes a group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, serious disease or disability, gender, age, or seckshual orientation Graphic violence or gore The promotion, glorification, or threats of violence Illegal activities or goods Self-harm or the promotion of self-harm Depictions of nude minors or minors in a seckshual manner Promotion of terrorism or violent extremism Dissemination of misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive content that could lead to real-world harm Private information of others Ironically, posting the rules breakes the rules. "seckshual" was flagged, then quoted to me: "The message body contains seckshual, which is not permitted in this community. Please remove this content before sending your post." 'seckshual' used to skirt the check.

This is one of the things I love about Photoshop -- many ways to flay the feline. Rather than concur with Divide and Conquer, recent versions of Ps came with cool masking techniques. This is the result from just a few clicks using Ps 2025>Filter>Camera Raw Filter>Mask, then selecting Person 1. Just a little cleanup (circled in pink) and vyola. I didn't need to select Clothes.

However, now in the Photoshop (beta) app you can seamlessly add 3D objects to your 2D Photoshop design using the Adobe Substance 3D Viewer (beta) app. Click here for more details... Note: The Lighting Effects filter works only on 8-bit RGB images in Photoshop. You must have a supported video card to use Lighting Effects. For more information, see this FAQ.

I'm running Ps 26.2 under MacOS 15.2. It'd be an unfair guess to blame it on your system. My steps to try to reproduce your experience: 1. open Ps 2. press the B key the Brush toolbar appears, even though I haven't opened an image. Oddly, when I tried to record a QuickTime movie, pressing B didn't invoke the Brush tool. Furthering the oddness, when I opened a file while recording Ps, B immediately invoked the Brush tool. See attachment.
