I will take a look at the preference settings that you pointed out, thanks. Unfortunately, when it comes to example images, I do have several but since the majority of the work I do is with licensed images I am not at liberty to upload those.

Thank you for taking the time to look into this, I appreciate it. Your reply explains why none of CA adjustment tools worked. I'll have to bone-up on my masking skills as others have suggested to minimize the unwanted effect. Though, next time I'll expose at f/4 or f5.6 and see if that improves things. Thanks again.

Jeff is correct. No need for plug-ins (besides, f the author disappear or fail to upgrade/adapt the tool for a new computing environment, you're stuck). In addition to Jeff's Window>Properties, Ps 2025 has a second grouping of tools that becomes available when 1) the document contains more than one layer, and 2) the Move tool is activated.

Yes @Peter Villevoye , I believe that is the reason.
It works, but it is a little annoying to see an empty library, briefly see a message that something goes wrong, immediately followed by the library filled with content.
It was in the release notes (hard to find, you need to use a search engine) for Version 6.1.0.587 released on 12/15/202

Microsoft Translator may have made a mistake. Apple's Translate app says: "I don't have to download the new version, it's always waiting..." I think what Paolo is saying is that he's running v26.2 but it still shows in Creative Cloud. It is showing in CC. It wasn't in CC yesterday. Unfortunately, Adobe chose to not display details of the download file -- size, timestamp -- so this is either a repeat of a previous (duplicate) post of 26.2 or a new version that didn't get properly numbered, e.g., 26.2.x or 26.3. I logged out of CC, then logged back in. CC updated. When the app populated, the v26.2 update was still in the list -- for 1-2 seconds, then disappeared. Don't bother installing, just log out and log back in.

Everything is set as default. However I changed the settings as instructed above and saved the file. The colors still saved different (more vibrant). Something interesting, when I take the original file, upload it into canva and save it as PDF (RGB) the colors stay the same. Then I open the same PDF (canva) file in Photoshop, resize/crop, then save as PDF, the image colors stay the same just like the original. However, when I do the same exact steps for the PNG (RGB) original image file and export it as PDF the colors change. Something, happens when I open the orginal PNG file in photoshop, because the display color also change.

So that’s
Image Compression = None
Layer Compression = RLE
I just ran some tests and that should be one of the faster combinations.
The slowdown after 92% is usually something seen only if compression, especially ZIP, is applied to the TIFF files.
If it’s slow for you then some more questions might help troubleshoot it…
What are the width and height of the document, in pixels?
How many layers are there in the document?
As either of those gets larger, the longer the save time is.
Also, how much faster is it if you use Trevor.Dennis’ suggestion above to disable PSD/PSB compression and save as PSD or PSB?
(I am testing on an M1 Pro MacBook Pro)

Hey @akoor!
Is this issue happening with other apps, or is it just Bridge? Have you never been able to open Bridge since installing it, or did it work fine in a previous version? Could you try uninstalling and reinstalling to see if that resolves the problem?
Thanks, Alek

Another option would be to use the Clone Stamp Tool but first use the Clone Source panel (Window > Clone Source) to click on the flip horizontal icon (it's the one directly to the left of the W:). When it's set to be flipped, that icon is darker than the background.

I never got to image size because the canvas size was not getting larger, atleast as I can tell. Whenever I would adjust the canvas size, I was left with the same image looking horizontal. I was stuck on step 2, if that makes sense.
By @Alfonso R
There are ways to monitor the size numerically, to see how it changes as you work. You should be monitoring the current size both visually and numerically. Both are shown in the demo below. It shows two ways to monitor size numerically: The Info panel, and the status bar at the bottom if you set it to Document Dimensions. I show both, but you only have to use whichever one you like more. (A third way of verifying numerically is to make the ruler visible.)
The demo below is done assuming the goal is to transform an 1800 x 1200 px horizontal template to a 1200 x 1800 vertical template, keeping the graphic all the way across the bottom. In the demo below I totally ignore inches and ppi, which is appropriate if the template is for photos shared online only. If these are print templates, it’s the same procedure but then it would be appropriate to work out the numbers in inches and ppi, not pixels.
Steps shown, and the thinking behind them:
1. Verify current document dimensions in the Info panel.
2. Verify current document dimensions in the status bar. It starts out set to its default readout, Document Sizes, so we click the > and change it to Document Dimensions.
Both say it’s currently 1800 x 1200 px, as expected.
3. Choose Image > Canvas Size. The Width must be retained to keep the bottom graphics going all the way across, so only the Height can change.
4. To keep the graphics at the bottom, Anchor is set to bottom, and Height is changed to 2700 px.
Why 2700? The template is currently 3:2 aspect ratio (1800 x 1200 px). To maintain this as a vertical aspect ratio, if the Width must stay at 1800, the Height must be an additional third. 1800/2 is 900, so 900*3 is 2700 px, which we enter.
5. After applying Canvas Size, we can numerically confirm in the Info panel and status bar that the new document dimensions are 1800 x 2700 px. Additionally, we can visually confirm this by choosing View > Fit on Screen; we see the canvas is now a vertical 2:3 aspect ratio.
The problem now is that the template needs to be 1200 x 1800 px. To get there is a resize (not adding or removing area with Canvas Size, which if done from this point would screw up the bottom graphics), so…
6. Choose Image > Image Size. Both Resample and the “link width and height” icon (preserve aspect ratio) options must be enabled.
7. Height is set to 1800 px. The current aspect ratio is 2:3 and aspect ratio lock is enabled, so the only thing that can happen after entering 1800 is that Width becomes 1200 px, which is exactly what we want. We apply that.
8. Again we can both numerically and visually confirm that the current document dimensions are correct, and they do confirm that we now have a vertical template at 1800 x 1200 px.

Marcella, what version of Ps are you running? I see items on my screen that you don't have, and vice versa. Refer to my screenshot of Ps v26.2. The arrow points to an iten your screen is missing; clicking it will display the blue (on my screen) video timeline. Alternate method: click on "hamburger on upper-right of the timeline.

Or even the Filter > Other > Custom filter with an appropriate edge finding matrix/convolution kernel.
Dropbox - Custom Convolution Kernels.atn
Many of the custom filter settings were designed to isolate a single angle, so they need to be combined to include all angles. Therefore you would use the combined actions titled:
Detection Sampler: Roberts
Detection Sampler: CG Lineart
Detection Sampler: Prewitt
Detection Sampler: Robinson
Detection Sampler: Sobel
Detection Sampler: Kirsch
Detection Sampler: Scharr
There are many different actions in this action set "toolkit", not all of them are custom filter based.

As explained by @Trevor.Dennis, to edit a smart object layer, simply double-click on the SO thumbnail to enter editing mode in a separate tab. However, you won't have a "live preview" of the changes made. The only trick I know is to arrange two tabs using Window > Arrange > 2-up Vertical, and to save changes after modifying the Smart Object content by using File > Save to update changes and see the preview in the parent document.

I don’t have personal experience with the FF-680W. Keith’s review linked above says the image quality isn’t the best, that the scanner is great if you just need to get a lot of scans done that are good enough for quick family sharing. He says if he wants to scan to create a source for high-quality correction, retouching, and enlargement, he’ll re-scan that original on his Epson flatbed scanner.
His review has some comments about its bulk feeding, pointing out features such as its “Slow Mode” in case there are problems, and also says
For delicate prints, there is a transparent carrier ‘wallet’ to put pictures in. Use this for damaged prints where the feed mechanism may have issues or potentially damage your print.
But yeah, I don’t totally trust automatic document feeders too, based on my experience with common office copiers/scanners.
Also, I forgot to mention something earlier about VueScan, in case you’re considering it. Although its main purpose is running scanners, you can also load images into it. So if you already have a scanned image that totally failed with Photoshop Crop & Straighten and you want to see if VueScan can do better, you don’t have to re-scan it. Load the scanned image you already have into VueScan and have it process that file. Below is what it looked like after I loaded into VueScan the screen shot you originally posted, and enabled Multi-Crop. VueScan is already ready to split them up into multiple files. At this point I had not adjusted any of the proposed crops. VueScan seems to mistakenly think that some image groups are the same crop, so I would have to go in there and set up a separate crop for each one, but that won’t take long to fix.
It actually didn’t like the screen shot file as downloaded, I think because it was a PNG. But when I re-saved it as JPEG, it worked fine. I think this is because VueScan expects a file format that would come out of a common scanner, such as JPEG or TIFF.
