Could not complete the Camera Raw Filter command because of a program error. Last version that works Photoshop 2024 25.9.1 I followed all suggestions that I could find online without success. I save info from all previous versions of photoshop so that I can copy such as workspaces or Plug-Ins into a new version. Looking through my latest beta version I noticed in Windows:Program Files;Adobe:Adobe:Photoshop (beta):Plug-ins an empty Generator folder and my ICO Plug-in. Just for fun I added in a vey old Plug-in Camera Raw.8bi(last modified in November 2006). When I fired up Photoshop beta a message popped "One or more plug-ins are currently not available on your system> Don't show again). And lo and behold Camera Raw filter works ever since. You may try this and if you have no old Camera Raw Plug-ins you may try using any file by adding .8bi extension. Let me know if this worked for you! ... View more

The simple fix for broken file associations is to uninstall and reinstall.   This is a weakness in the CC installer. If you have "remove old versions" checked, it uninstalls the old version after the new one is installed. The outgoing version then takes file associations with it on the way out, leaving them orphaned.   To avoid this in the future, always follow version order when installing, and reverse version order when uninstalling. I have performed Wireshark captures of traffic going to the NAS and noticed that there are some network packet retry/resend blocks during file copy and writing operations. When copying files from the NAS there are sometimes when the copy seems to be hung and then starts back up again. With this information I noticed that when the copy hangs my NAS is flashing lights on the SSD Cache drives that it uses to speed up the file transfers. I don’t have any errors in the console, and there are no other issues I’ve noticed to tell me there is problem on the nAS. However, I disabled the SSD cache and replaced these SSD cache drives, setting up a new cache.  File copy operations are much more fluid, without any pauses and resets.   I have been working in Lightroom since and haven’t noticed any crashes since. I don’t believe that Lightroom should outright crash with an NTDLL.DLL error when there is a “network retry” operation in the filesystem, but this might be the root cause of the issue. I will continue to work in Lightroom, save metadata to files on the NAS, copy files to and from the NAS, etc. to see if the issues have been resolved.   ... View more

Si c'est juste pour les lire, les exporter sans modifs, aucun problème a priori.   Perso j'ai fait 2 catalogues, un qui est la mise à niveau du catalogue LR5, qui est déjà très conséquent mais sur lequel je ne reviens pas souvent puisque les photos sont livrées aux clients,  et créé un nouveau avec les nouvelles images pour profiter des nouvelles options de retouche et avoir un catalogue plus "léger". I'm not impressed with the changes in LR.  There was a point where you could complete image adjustments without a full-on edit or having to open PS to do it.  I want to be able to process the images adjust-white balance if needed, affect the light or dark of the image...this is so confusing. ... I would love to say this worked for me but alas, it did not. I am in LrC, right clicking on an image I want to open in PS2025. It does NOT give me the option to open in PS2025. It only lists 2023. I tried to open it in PS2023 (just to see if it would open in PS2025), but of course PS2023 is in the trash bin so nothing happens. Why isn't LrC reading what I have on my computer?
