Hi. Not sure you saw the warning, when you enabled Legacy Save As - as that chooses to NOT append the word copy to your file name (see attachment). And, for all time, Saving as a Copy left you in your original file and saved a copy OUT of your work.  I'm not certain what lead you to use Legacy, but I think if you just disable that and use Save As (separately from Save As a Copy - which does the same thing via the menu, or the Preference), you'll end up working in you Save As'd file, as I think you intend.  ... Gary just tested one image in Bridge adjusted made much lighter in ACR . Then with imageprocessor, via tools PS,  I checked, save in same location, it then opened in PS, then closed... Yes in finder the test image still looks dark.   Also, the export custom, what think of that as well as getting batch images changed saved in same folder?  I looked export custom interface, at that and was confusing, so wondering your opinion. ... Your post was great!  But I posted at beginning, part of what makes keyboard shortcuts a mess, is in addition to everything you posted, your workflow..   You fogot in incude in your flow chart the OK, and the Accept, What are those, do they contradict each other. Jane, thanks I did not mean I ever want to change photoshop defaults, I never use PS defaults, just pointing out the madness.   thanks for showing the hidden save button. I remember that from years ago, but have not noticed it foe years.   So why have Save button, and Accept, and on top of that, and OK button, what is all this?   And in aeddition to that the one, I use, Larrys Shortcuts, and modified name next to it,  which I did not add, ,Totally confused, Save, Accept, OK, modified, and then in dropdown, old shortcuts, that I no longer use and not sure how delete out of the dropdown.    I mean, why would PS assume if I add a shortcut, I could not want that to be saved? So do all, Save button, OK button ,and Accept button and adds modified? and in drop down are others from the past I had that are more valid or less valid that what have now? ... View more

C thanks so when delete cropped pixels, is checked then just command S save -  without a new box asking for a quality..    Conversetly if saving pixels, ie, (aving old crop)  it's reverse.   Finally, A ---rotate in PS, you would say is as good/ equivilant of Apple Photos rotate wheel? B - again, why use the straithten tool ? As it's so innefective so often?   Thanks for helping. The straighten tool is the hash tag icon at the far right of the geometry list of tools. After you choose that tool you need to draw at least two lines on what you want straightenesd before anything will happen. You can draw up to four lines if needed. ... View more

You're welcome, Larry. The fn key on my external iPad keyboard is in the lowest left, so it tends to not have a set place. It's either / or with the function keys — there's no partial or customizing. I have the same problem. All these .bak -files cluttering my files folder. I don't think I need these backup files. How do I get rid of them. I spent hours trying some time ago. Would agree with Sahil as you said you were getting them before so could be going to spam. Do you have more than one email or have you recently done anything to update your email service, you may have a forwarder set up wrong or something in your email service. For example when I am at work, Sometimes my work email adress takes over my Adobe forums, and my email go there instead. Cant hurt to try my settings my settings. . ... View more
