The weirdest InDesign glitch I've ever encountered. I'm laying out a book with text pasted from Mac Pages into frames in a two-column layout. I'm receiving various texts that have to be arranged alphabetically, so I can't place files. Anyhow, everything is fine BUT when an entry starts with a word beginning with a capital "I"...the letter I drops out or disappears. It only happens with that letter. The body text is nothing odd, just Calibri. I'm using the latest version of ID for Mac. Here's a screenshot.

It worked when I made a selection with the lasso tool. It would not work with selections made via pen tool then converted from a path.

Not clear about this feature..."drag posts" from where? If you create a post on Express you can schedule it or leave a draft. Is that storing ideas? It sounds as if you could drag images or Quick Notes as ideas for potential future posts. That would be a useful feature.

Oops...One problem. I can't get the master pages to change. I created a new master and it still shows the old border. I looked under layout and margins and the dimensions are correct. But the purple border has not adjusted.

Ahh, doh...that was the problem... mster pages were not updated. As soon as I applied "none" to pages the margins changed. Thank you, Uwe!

Thanks Gary. Yes, everything was working correctly yesterday. But last night I was uploading files to Adobe Cloud. That's the key to the problem I think. Today I opened a project in Indesign and the images were just gray boxes. So I searched on Google and found a solution. I had to go to Mac's Privacy settings and manually allow ID and other apps to access files. This is weird because I never changed any settiings and everything worked. Anyhow, it solved the issue with InDesign but Bridge is still not working...no thumbnails. It shows my file folders on the left, but selecting one just shows a black space. And Bridge is not listed in the apps where the privacy settings are. Go Figure. I updated to Monterey the day after it was launched. One other conundrum is that I have an 5 year old MacBook Pro which has been upgraded to Monterey as well. And everything there (including Bridge) is working fine. One last point. I have

I'm running the latest version of Bridge on a MacBook Air on Monterey OS. This morning I launched Bridge and no thumbnails for any folder show. I tried resetting preferences at startup and that didn't work. Restarting laptop didn't work. What's going on Adobe? Is this because Bridge is not compatible with Monterey. I will try uninstalling and reinstalling. Help please!

ID 15.0.2 on my MacBook hangs whenever I choose the Place command and click on a file or folder. It unfreezes when I click around the screen. But I can't place items. I have to drag images in from Bridge or copy & paste text. This is driving me nuts.

I've updated Photoshop, Bridge, and ID and all seem to load and run slower. ID will sometimes hang a few seconds during certain tasks, e.g., mouse-clicking in a paragraph. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I remove the app and reinstall? Or wait for Adobe to stomp out the bugs? Had no issues running CC2018.
