Hi @janemii ,
We recently released Ps 23.3.1. Have you tried this update yet? If so, can you please also try disabling the following:
Preferences -> Performance -> (GPU) Advanced Settings ... -> GPU Compositing
Preferences -> Performance -> Multithreaded Compositing
Please let me know how this goes either way. Sorry for your experience.

Hi @davescm . We really appreciate your help on this. I'm not sure if we advertised this clearly. But GPU Compositing only runs on RGB 8-bit documents. We are working on supporting all bit depths.

Hi @Alexfmos2 I tried generating the mask with the steps you provided in our beta version, but I don't get the same mask result as you do. I have a recording attached. There are a few other suggestions I have. I suggest disabling Preferences -> Performance -> Multithreaded Compositing and restarting Photoshop.

I am sorry for the frustrations you're feeling. The fix we provided should apply to both mac and windows. And we did test both operating systems. So I am suprised you are experiencing this issue. When you say restart every 10 minutes, is that restarting the Photoshop app or the machine? If it was restarting the app, would you be okay to restart your machine? There could be an underlying process from another app that Photoshop is encountering to cause our app to freeze. Please let me know how it goes either way. What hardware mac machine are you using? Apple Silicon/M1 vs Intel? Mac Pro vs Macbook? Year?
Are there any external monitors or SideCar connected to your machine?
I had a similar Ps 2022 crasher with my external monitor. I fixed it by disconnecting and reconnecting it.
Do you have the latest Creative Cloud Desktop installed?
Have you been submitting the crashers to both Apple and Adobe Crash Reporter?

Hi William,
Thank you for sharing your screen. As a first checker, can you please open /Applications/Utilities/Termina.app and run the following command:
ps -ef | grep "/Applications/Utilities/Adobe Sync/CoreSync/Core Sync.app/Contents/MacOS/Core Sync"
This command will show if one our background processes is running to which helps upload & download Cloud Documents.

Hi William, Your screenshot is showing recent files. Have you checked the "Cloud Documents" tab in the left pane of your iPad? If it's still not there, you can refresh the listing by scrolling past the top, like refreshing your email. Also, can you check your work on your desktop by going to Photoshop -> Cloud documents ?
