Would be nice if you could scale the Transmit out so that my BM connected reference monitor could also show the zooms.

Q1/2: Real estate and the freedom to adjust the workspace to your personal preference is key.
As I edit on a 49" curved wide screen monitor from LG, I always customize my workspace by switching the Source and Program monitor around. The program monitor sits in the middle, while the Source monitor is on the right. I tend not to use the Source monitor that much anyway, as I often do multiple sequence or pancake editing, drag or copy/pasting portions of clips from one sequence to the other. Thus, in a way, I'm using the timeline as a source.
Q3: I will need to do a project to find out.
Q4: I definitely switch workspaces when I do extensive color grading work. What I find puzzling, though, is that as soon as you drag one of the sliders in the Color tab, the effect Lumetri Color gets added inside the Motion and effects tab. IMHO, Adobe should assume the editor wants to adjust color in any way, shape or form in the first place, so you might just as well add an empty version of the Lumetri Effect by default. Or at least give me an option to set this in Preferences. Most filmmakers I know, shoot in some form of Log, which *requires* color correction, even if it's merely applying a LUT. I *always* color correct my footage, and, if there's time, I dig deeper into color grading.
Q5: It can be useful for first-time users. Or as a resource whenever a new version comes out. But it should be easy to get rid of as well, since it takes up valuable real-estate.

Thanks for noting the problem of only seeing the similar format files!
The non-obvious ... when I initially clicked the filename, expecting to get a folder with names in it ... I got a blank folder again. I closed it, reopened. Still a blank folder. I navigated to other folders, all blank. Then posted the first bit of response.
Then went back and tried again ... and finally saw that in the upper left of the Windows Explorer window, to the left of the area below the folder-tree and above the blank box ... there was a very small text item "Save as ..."
And it was when I clicked on that small, nearly hidden Save-as that I finally got the files to show.
I had ... expected ... that it would simply show the files without me having to do something. Having to hunt for the 'save-as' option was not what I was expecting.

Can we make it more visiual then just little badges : Like if you editing and you forgot to put some files in proxy, they just show as "media offline" ? So you directly see there not here, you forgot or deleted or forgot to attach ? If you Tab the Proxy icon, could it be an option to make this more visual ? like clips in certain color, so you know you in proxy ? I have no issues, but because we have 400 editors we see loads of people , not have a good basic skill (and even expierenced editors) I see them make loads mistakes on proxys. Indien also the audio stuff is an issue.. Because our hires material can go from 2 to 4 to 6. to 8 channels of audio.. and there all mixed in one project . so you have to always check audio channels (And our archive has items with. 16 channels)

Finally found the new 'save as' option ... it's a tiny phrase in the upper left corner of that first dialog that opens when you click the filename of the export.
One rather major issue ... past it is SO not obvious a process ... it only shows media in the same format as the current export!
Um ... so, you're now wanting to make an H.264 deliverable of your master file ... but the master is a ProRes therefore mov ... and you can't see mov filenames with an H.264 export.
For me, that's rather a problem.

This issue has been fixed and you can test it in public beta right now. We have implimented a "Save As" dialog instead of just a simple location picker which we had before. This allows you to set the name in the same step as choosing the location including the ability to click on a previous file to copy the name. We ususally don't promise when a fix will be released, but I can say that we intend to get this into the very next patch release since this is causing such a headache for so many people. Many appologies for the inconvenience.

Francis Crossman just shook his head in amazement at that bug. It took like four things to trip it ... including something with audio, and three other things I forget. So replicating it had the staff going nuts until they tumbled as to what it was.
Then ... they could replicate first time every time. Which made going for the fix a lot easier.

Many people are hitting this issue at 34:46 (or really close to it.) We have identified that the issue is related to audio. Can you tell me about your audio channelization. Do you have source clips with multichannel audio? Is your sequence configured for more than stereo. We are working quickly on a fix.

This is a great explanation and looks like a great new feature! Thank you. I'm in the process of unpacking all these color space settings I don't fully understand. Just came to the conclusion that I should NOT use any HDR settings unless you have the full pipeline built for it (right monitor, cables, set Lumetri scopes to HDR, set Program Monitor to HDR etc etc). What I'm trying to untangle now is why Premiere still exports desaturated and low-contrast exports, unless I use a correction LUT made by a youtuber. The offical Quicktime Gamma Correction LUT does not work for me. Any insight on this would be great. Anyway, I digress. Great post!

Yes, as noted, the RG Universe doesn't work yet with any build past 22.0. I'm hoping we all get a fix for this sometime soon, but no one knows when that will be.
So ... to use those plugins, you need to stick with that build for now. And yes, a project worked in a later build will still load without issue in 22.0.
