all scenarios <<< (Except for one thing when image is small, like lone edge pixel 1200?) (but that's really small file, Basically, the pictures taken are over 3000px =( ) And i'm talking about the current version(23.3). The reason why I mentioned a specific version(shch as ps21.0.3 is no liquify lag, ps2015.5 is no lag when layer toggle) as an example is to inform you of a stable version that does not cause delays or problems. I think the layer toggle delay bug that occurred after ps2015.5 was caused by the change of engine inside Photoshop, and I also know that it is not easy to solve it. BUT, must fix that Liquify zoom lag... I like the specifications of the computer, so there is only a short delay, but most people say that when zoom in more than 50%, there is a delay of at least 3 to 5 seconds.... isn't normal. And i think it's not just delay. I felt like needed time to load the liquify once I ran it. So, What I suggest is this. Something seems to be wrong with the code that loads the image when you run LiquiPi. I think it's better to focus on this part and fix the bug. It's the same when there's only one layer, not dozens of layers. That's what happens with all the files of a typical size, and it's not just me, it's the people I know, and it's going through a lot of people in communities like Reddit.

The current Photoshop version is very slow.
(It was fast and accurate until version PS 21.0.3, and the problem began after that)
1. Hand tool(=press space bar) and move area is slow (ofcousre disable panning)
2. liquify zoom(There is a delay once when zooming in more than 50%. Unconditionally, Version 21.0.3 is smooth no lag)
3. layer toggle visable slow (Ctrl + ,) its React one beat slower. (This part until version PS2015.5. 2015.5 is really fast and smooth everything. Check this.....)
I don't know why if I have to pay my monthly subscription and work harder.
Some say. Don't update it unconditionally, report people's reactions.
Yes. i do, and i did. Always leave the previous version and update to the latest version. But I always use the previous version. It is now 2022. Until when should my working environment stay in 2015.5 Photoshop or 2020 Photoshop?
I've done dozens of reinstallations, and I've done dozens of computer formats. Regardless of the type of computer, this was a problem with the Photoshop version. It wasn't even a plug-in problem.(disable native canavs thing is already try... 😃 )
It's not abut my pc. I tested it on everyone's computer I know and I got the same conclusion. (Ryzen5600x, 5900x, intel 12900k, imac, m1 mini ... etc all the same)
CHECK this , and fix Please. How many more years should I wait...?

Photoshop 23.2.2, ,window10 I'm left-hand user, and mostly my hand place at Right side. And Sometimes I accidentally pressed the wrong key and another brush was selected, so I used to remove the shortcut to prevent it. (i mean previous brush , next brush . ) <<< this shortcut. But this version is not working my way. If i delete or change to other key, same shortcut. ,,,,, ..... <<<<< this is not change. My point is If i change Keyboard shortcut, But default shortcut is working. And it's very comptable.

I also pasted the info into the inquiry I posted a few days ago. The difference here is that there is no plug-in and change memory usage(it just test). Other than that, it's all the same. And what's important is not only my computer, but also when I run it and test it on other Windows computers, it's all the same. Everyone I know talks about the bug. Should I bring all their info? I don't think it's meaningful. This is an internal defect....

Photoshop version 23.2.2 I don't know when this bug starting exactly. (But i guess... from 23.2?) Delay or Lag It happens unconditionally when try zoom more than 50% in liquify.(it's mean 66.7 or 100%~). It doesnt matter way(= mouse, or keyboard shortcut or wacom tablet everything). My image size is mostly from 6000x4000px~. And previous version is well done for me.(i mean ps2021, 2020, 2019, 2018~) Windows10 user, Ryzen5600x, Ram 128GB, NvmeSSD, 2070super GPU. No install plug in. And already try reset setting and reinstall =(. But it's same. There is a delay when zooming in more than 50% every time i'm work. Of course, the delay is not long. For about a second. BUT!!! There is inevitably a delay of 1 second per picture, and liquify is used up to 10 times when working on 1 picture. IT'S VERY BAD NEWS FOR ME. FIX THIS PLEASE... btw, If i select a small area(use marquee or lasso thing) and run a separate liquify, that's fine. But I don't want to do that, and I haven't done that. Because the specifications of my computer are very good, it always worked smoothly in the whole area without selection. And one more thing is... i tried make Small size(1000px), and it's no delay. Is there something wrong with the rendering method of loading the photo? If it exceeds a certain size, it will unconditionally slow down. However, most of the photos I work on are at least 6000x4000, which is absolutely impossible to work with a smaller size depending on the customer's request.

when i try zoom in(out), lag or frezeez a momment. ps23.2, it's not my computer's problem. It was okay until the previous version. window10 user, and already turn off native canvas ruller things. tried reset. Have to Fix this! And one more thing... Why can't use "Scrubby Zoom" in liquify? This is a very old problem. This will also have to be fixed.

Yes, it's right. This bug start from Photoshop2022(maybe 23.1, At first, there was no bug like this) Also, It's very slow when you turn off and on the layers and check the work details. zoom lag + layer toggle lag is must fix. Many codes are woven and bugs can occur, but at least I think the essential part of the work needs to be fixed. And the best answer for all bugs is Photoshop 2015.5. If Adobe employees don't know exactly the criteria for feedback on speed, you can think of Photoshop 2015.5. Most actual workers use that version last.

OH MY GOD...It's finally fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This bug is very old, as many people know, and Photoshop 2015.5 version was the last and only solution. Now that the big bug has been fixed, I hope the response speed when checking while turning off the layer will be the same.(like 2015.5... old version photoshop is really fast.)

few days ago, I posted a new post. https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem/p-photoshop-2021-weird-brush-size-animation-very-slow-using-keyboard-windows/m-p/12342548#M577784 The only solution is to use "Photoshop 2015.5". or if you using 2k or 4k HighDpi Monitor, have to use 2019... 2018 is support Hidpi, But it's not perfect..Ofcourse 2019 is brush slow =( I'm using BenQ's 4k monitor, and I have no choice but to use 2019 now.... About Brush Change delay ....Honestly, I almost gave up. And Funny thing is.... When you press hold [ + ] for change brush size, it's delay. Right? But Try moving your mouse while pressing the keyboard the same way. And then you can see brush changing. It's very weird... =( After years of pondering and looking into this problem, it is not a user's problem. Not Hardware problem, Not Winows's problem , Not Setting, driver things problem... Just Photoshop's Problem after 2015.5 version.........

I hope it's settled. What I can tell you for sure is a mysterious delay that has occurred since 2015.5 version. I tested all the versions.(2017,2018,2019,2020,2021...) And Only version 2015.5 survived... Now, I have no choice but to use 2019. (Because 2018 doesn't fully support HiDPI, 2019 is faster than 2021. Of course, it's much slower than 2015.5).... =( Please let me know if there is any change. I've been waiting for years. And if I can change any file in the Photoshop folder or modify the registry to fix this phenomenon, I would really appreciate it if you could tell me the answer.

😃 LOL I understand. I think there's something I don't know...... It's not the problem with my computer that's for sure. And I don't think it's even Windows10' problem. Well, all I can think of is that there's been a difference in the version since Photoshop 2015.5.... What's that?

Hi. I'm posting a question again. There are many people who go through the same phenomenon as me.
I'll tell you exactly what the problem is first.
Like you and I know when we want change brush size, press keyboard shortcut [ + ].
No matter how long I press, the size of the brush should change. Because it's always been like that.
But if you look at the attached picture below, there are many differences.
in photoshop2015.5 * very smooth, It changes and shows exactly how much I press.
in photoshop2021 * something wrong. You can only see the first and last brush changes in size. In the middle, it appears to be slow (or broken) as if there is a delay.
Someone says. Why don't use a drag shortcut(Alt + Mouse Rightclick and drag)?
Yes. I know that. However, use keyboard is more comfortable to me. And as you can see from the attached photos of Photoshop2015.5, it's very soft as like drag shortcut.
brush panel is not important and turn off already.
i tried many things. Check this first..
1. Reinstall Photoshop2021, Reset Setting Pref.
2. Tried other version(2020, 2019,2018). But the same. *But funny thing is... My main workflow takes almost in photoshop2019. And A few months ago, I used to use it smoothly and well without this delay
3. Reinstall GPU nvidia Driver, and tried other every version. But same results.
4. So... I Reinstall Windows10(Clean install from microsoft, Not recovery) * I think I've formatted it about six times so far. 😃
My computer is no problem. It's new.
Ryzen5600x, Ram64GB, 2070Super GPU, Nvme SSD, Windows10
https://feedback.photoshop.com/conversations/photoshop/photoshop-2018-brush-size-animation-very-slow-using-keyboard-windows/5f5f46094b561a3d426fad2d
I saw this post, and he tried 2015.5, works well.
So... What should I do now?..
* Is there a solution I can try? (like turning off some settings, changing the registry...
Why do I have to feel this slow brush change speed with my good computer specification when I've become a version-up paying monthly subscription fee?

Yes. Previous GPU : 1060 3gb works well. and As I think about it now, it's not a problem with graphics cards. Because it worked well back then, but it suddenly changed one day. Now GPU : 2070 super 8g GPU driver was Feb, this year from nvidia. And i tried update every month... and back orginal.. but not work anymore. i don't understand this happen...

No. not two GPU. i mean, I wasn't using two GPUs, I was using 1060 before. And I thought it might be a problem with the graphics card, so I updated the driver and changed the graphics card to 2070. Please read it properly.

I posted a question a while ago, but I'm writing again because I didn't get a satisfactory answer. As you can see from the GIF file, you can only see the beginning and end of the brush by pressing down on the [,] keyboard shortcut and changing the size of the brush. I can't see the change in the middle, but it's cut off. (Lag..? Delay?) Some people say. You can't keep up with the keyboard. That's what they say. That's exactly what it wasn't. The brush has always changed in size as smoothly as I'm pressing it. And I know because I'm a professional change of size through right-click. But I prefer to use a keyboard. The size adjustment of the brush is smooth in liquify. If you adjust it like this in Photoshop, it looks like that. Does anyone know why and how to fix? The list below is what I've tried. 1. Reset all setting 2. Re-installing 2019, 2021 3. Reinstall Window10,,,, 4. update gpu driver 5. change gpu I'm writing it down in advance because I think someone will say that my computer specification is not good. And it was adjusted very smoothly on my computer until last week. Please don't conclude that it's the way it is. windows10 21h1, ryzen5600x, rtx2070super, ram32g photoshop2019,2021 Both are the same problem. Updating to the latest version is also not a solution. Somebody help me. Few years ago, I've seen someone like me on Reddit who goes through this all of a sudden. There must be a solution.

As you know, [ + ] is key for change brush size. ince yesterday, if you suddenly press the keyboard, it should shrink smoothly and grow in size smoothly... It's choppy and weird. When I check the brush panel on the left, the number indicating the size of the brush goes up and down quickly, but Photoshop doesn't seem to respond. Why is that? Photoshop has been reinstalled twice today. Photoshop in 2019 and 2021 all occur the same. I tried reinstalling and rolling back the graphics driver. This is Windows. It suddenly became like this.

I'm sorry before the question. sory to post such a silly question that is out of line with the community's community. I don't know about Java and the script. And in fact, I don't use a lot of automation. But while working on Photoshop, I wanted to make only one function into a script, so I'm asking you this question. (Btw,i'm using Photoshop2019) Regardless of the name of the layer, how should i produce a script that can send the active layer to the top? As you know, In photoshop already provide keyboard shorcut ( ctrl+shift+] ) But... There are times when layers are in a group or something doesn't go to the top depending on the situation. So if you can implement it with a script, if any layer is activated, I would like to know how to send to the top. Thank you for reading it. I'm sorry for asking such a silly question.

As you can see from the picture, this is the typical working environment of FHD(1920x1090). Increasing font size from the interface menu is not satisfactory. Because I have bad eyesight. However, it is very satisfying to set the display scale of Windows 10 to 150%. I can see iKON very well and it's great. But everything else is burdensome except Photoshop. Can the setting of Windows 10 be applied only to Photoshop like this? Or can you adjust the scale by modifying the Photoshop's own registry? Please help me if you know anyone.

I usually use a lot of Dust/Median from noise tabs and Gaussian blur. I don't remember how slow it was when I used Surface blur a few years ago, but I found it slow while trying something new now. It's less slow if you just apply a filter without using a smart object, but it's not as fast as other filters. I don't know if you need to set up my Photoshop function, but I'll write it down below. History : 80 Cache Level : 4 Cache Tile Size : 1024K Memory : 80% Scaracth Disk : 250Gb SSD Full Storage for only photoshop scrach disk Use Graphic processor : check 1060 drawing mode : advanced Check : Use Graphics Processor to Accelerate Computation Use Open CL Anti-alias UnCheck : 30bit display What i have to do? I don't know what the problem is.
