If that's the only thing you do when you turn on the camera raw, try the latest version of the camera row, or try an earlier version. Sometimes when the camera raw file is damaged, I sometimes experience a crash every time I turn on the camera raw. In that case, it was solved by finding and erasing the cameraaraw.8bi file directly, downloading and installing the desired version from Adobe's homepage.

Yes, the graphics card driver is up to date. Unfortunately if I can't fix the problem that's what i'm gonna do but but it's sad... It's been a long time that this problem is here...I'm wondering why there is no fix for it.

honestly, I don't know nothing about programming and code and that Adobe's developers are hard working on it now. I am always grateful for their hard work. But... I do miss photoshop from cs3, cs4, cs5, cs6. It was really fast, stable, and there was no lag even if I made hundreds of layers. (Despite the 4gb RAM on the computer at the time) But you can't do that in the current Photoshop. Of course, people who have Photoshop as a job like me somehow change their workflow... It is best to simplify the layer as much as possible, avoid using pixel-based masking as much as possible, and try to use the oldest and simplest method. I've heard the same story tens of thousands of times with novices starting Photoshop. "Why my photoshop is so slow?" At some point (actually since 2018), Photoshop is already recognized as a slow, heavy program for the public. Many benchmark sites say upgrading computer specifications will improve this much, but Who's been doing the photoshop and just exporting without doing anything else? There was only one thing I felt and experienced while using Photoshop for more than 10 years and being put into the actual work site. There was no big difference according to the specifications of the computer. Of course, if Ram is relaxed, he can feel better even if he uploads various pictures at the same time. But honestly... There is not much difference between CPU and GPU. The difference I'm talking about is the difference in the actual work. Shortening export speed is just a number play.... This is also related to the representative claim that the responsiveness has accelerated with the release of the m1 series. Photoshop is currently slow to boot up using m.2 nvme as well as ssd. But as you know, the speed of Photoshop in the CS series is the speed of Photoshop currently running in the m1,m2 series.. 😃 I don't know. I will test it in my studio as soon as new products from Intel and Ryzen and Nvidia and Radeon are released this time. I can predict the outcome, but... (Because even when the Intel 12th generation and the Ryzen 5000 series were already released, they tested the difference in softness in actual workflows and whether they could perform as much as the old CS6 Photoshop. I tried to boost the RAM over clock and CPU clock to the fullest) I want Photoshop to come back to its original state. As Adobe's Customer, user, fan...

Is anything else still in the works? Using a 4K screen, the cursors are still very hard to see at times. There is now a Brush Tip Outline setting but what we really need is a cursor scale option. Additionally, a negative cursor option like the Windows Inverted cursor scheme would help make the cursor much more visible.

Yes. i know i can change scale(150~200%). But if i do that, you lose my work area. I'm not just saying that the UI is getting bigger. If you look at the first picture I attached, you can adjust the size of the "color" tab as much as you want. We're talking about how the curve tabs should be able to get that big.... If the "Color" tab is adjusted to that size, the window 10 must be scaled to 200% or greater. And all the rest of the menu gets too big. What I'm saying is that when you're working on a particular tool, because the size that's fixed is too small (people with poor eyesight), you want to release the restriction like the "color" tab.

@biskis how did you reset your prferences?
Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere:
Restore your preferences using this manual method:
https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually
Does it work correctly?
If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.
It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
Thank you,

I'm not having issues on three systems- one Windows 10, one Intel Mac, one M1 Mac. SO perhaps you have a problem specific to your computer? The system info as requested is a good start, and some additional detail of exactly what is causing problems.

When press alt, menu bar activated.
By @Jqqerry
The early versions of Windows were installed on top of DOS back in the days when very few people had any reason to use a mouse and everything was done with the keyboard. The Alt key has always activated the menus when you tap and release the key without dragging or doing something else. Escape also exits the menus, btw. Since Macs have always had a mouse, this shortcut to enter the menus was never built into macOS.
One way to avoid activating the menus is don't tap Alt and then release it (but you might know this already.)
I've read that newer versions of Windows have the ability to turn off the underlined shortcuts. You might look or ask on the Microsoft forums.

Wowsers! My feature request is approaching the 8 year mark! Perhaps a screenshot of PhotoLine might serve as inspiration. Compare Photoshop's tiny Curves editor with PhotoLine's infinitely scalable Curves editor: ...and why is it still not possible to work with LAB or HSV in the curve editor while in RGB image mode? Sigh...

I think this is a pretty good idea unexpectedly... Or you can show the channel at once like that, and I think it would be good to make ACR's color wheel available on the adjustment tab. It's more intuitive to correct the color in the shape of a wheel

The most reliable solution for me is just turning off G-sync straight up, but I do play games on the same computer I use Photoshop on, so always going to the control panel every time I play and use Photoshop to switch G-sync gets annoying. Fortunately, someone made a program to switch G-sync on and off more convenient: GsyncSwitch by kwizatz88 on GitHub. The program allows you to switch G-sync, as well as other monitor tech, directly from the System Tray.

The bug that makes that line happens to me, too. At first, I thought it was a problem with Hidpi, but I compared it by changing the window magnification to 100/125/150/200, but the problem was not solved. As the writer says, it is solved by turning on the window mode and clicking the full screen button again, and dragging each panel (docking) slightly changes the left and right widths. And then the line disappears. It's a strange problem.
