This has NOT been fixed or addressed. It has been logged as a bug and a larger feature to better support keyboard shortcuts for international keyboards. This particular keyboard shortcut is not exposed in the Customize Keyboard Shortcuts dialog so it can't be re-assigned unfortunately. I will keep pushing on this. Thanks for your patience.

@Garth Hayter Yay! Thanks for confirming you're seeing the fix in the update we just released. You're very welcome and I wish we could turn around fixes for all the issues out there. If you're experiencing this issue, are you using WinTab or Win Ink. The easiest way to tell is, from Photoshop, go to Help > System Info and look for this close to the top but you'll need to scroll down a bit (if you see this, you're using WinTab):
PSUserConfig entries: - K uSty UseSystemStylus 0
If this is enabled, then also check your Wacom Tablet Properties - Calibrate tab, to see if you have Use Windows Ink checked in the lower left corner. If you have both of these enabled, that could cause a conflict. If you are using WinTab, would you mind disabling it and see if the problem persists? (To temporarily disable it, open the PSUserConfig.txt file in your preferences folder and simply add a # in front of the string, save the text file and relaunch Photoshop, you'll want to make sure Use Windows Ink is enabled in Wacom Tablet Properties).

Hi @Icone 02 Do you see this issue with the latest release (24.0.1)?
Also, looking at your Prefs, you are using WinTab (i.e. PSUserConfig.txt has UseSystemStylus 0). If you are using that, you should uncheck Use Windows Ink in your Wacom Tablet Properties (Calibrate tab).
Conversely, you can try to enable that (Use Windows Ink) and remove the PSUserConfig.txt file, relaunch Photoshop and see if that helps. One last thing, current Wacom drivers are up to 6.40.0-8 so you can also try updating those. Let us know if any of those help.

The bug that was fixed is what @Michal G_1 described in this thread back in July.
The issue where the foreground color gets loaded on change of brush size or flip foreground/background color has been around as far back as PS 2018. That has not been fixed.

I think what Cory meant to say is to suggest trying to use the WinTab work around to see if that resolve the problem. Here is how to enable that:
Create a text (.txt) file, .rtf won't work name the file PSUserConfig.txt and type this into it: UseSystemStylus 0
Save and close it. Then move it into your Photoshop Preferences folder on your HD. It should be here: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2022\Adobe Photoshop 2022 Settings\ Then go into your Wacom settings (on the Calibrate tab) and uncheck Use Windows Ink. Then restart Photoshop

This is precisely the issue, resizing resets the brush with foreground color. Looks like a recent fix with Mixer Brush introduced this. I'll log and work with the Dev to fix. Thank you!

Hi @johnc99910899 Sorry for the delay on circling back here. I can repo the issue by exporting from Illustrator as a PDF and opening in Photoshop. I just tried opening the Illustrator file directly in Photoshop's latest release (23.4.1) and don't see any faint white lines. Can you try that on your end and let me know if you see the same? @leosn56185363 Yes, the PSUserConfig workaround is now in Preferences > Tools so you can set the timing there. By default it is set to 200ms which is what it has been for years so if that doesn't work for your workflow, increase the timing or uncheck that option so that spring-loaded keyboard shortcuts are disabled if that fits your workflow.
