Adobe Dimension's list of  Materials collection is very impressive. But it's a bit time consuming to navigating through I have a suggestion by using A floating palette with tabs for each material category would streamline the navigation in Adobe Dimension 500 Materials . Here’s a more detailed suggestion for how this could be implemented: Floating Palette with Categorized Tabs, Floating Palette Design: • A compact, draggable window that can be positioned anywhere on the screen, independent of the main interface. 2. Categorized Tabs: • The palette would feature 16 tabs, each labeled with a material category (e.g., Metal, Paper, Wood, Fabric, Translucency, etc.). • Clicking on a tab would instantly display the materials within that category, eliminating the need for scrolling through a long list of 500. 4. Search and Filter: • Include a search bar at the top of the palette to quickly find specific materials within the selected category. 5. I noticed as well the multiple cameras appear. You can turn their view off from the right side with all other items are.  But I haven't figured out if I assigned them in the older version or they just populated?  more exploring to do. I’m very optimistic once Dn 4.0 is streamlined from bugs. It will be a much better improvement than 3.4.11. I’m especially excited about the approximately 500 materials to choose from with about 16 categories. But it's a bit time consuming to navigating through the extensive material library in Adobe Dimension 4.0, I would a suggestions to improve the workflow and ease of use: They are Categorized by Tabs, if they are collapsed closed, you can see all the categories but no sample, if you collapse  open, there will be 500 like Metal, Paper, Wood, Fabric, and Translucency without extensive scrolling. I hope they don't.  They have removed all the 3D tools from Photoshop to include them in Substace, but added more 3D features in Adobe illustrator,  although it is not as robust as Photoshop version 22.2. I see what you mean, I see the jagged edges on the 4.02. I wonder what happens if you try a jpg and a PNG file, will you get the same results? I'll have to try and see what happens when I import a psd graphic. ... View more

I still dont understand about the removing the option to click on the axis arrow or angle widget and type in the value you want to move or rotate the object. Can you show a screenshot? I started a dialogue with Adobe Illustrator tech support about 19 months ago regarding this issue. It’s puzzling that you can create an object with the Mesh tool, like a plastic bread bag with added wrinkles, but can’t export it as an OBJ file for finishing in Adobe Dimension. Given the recent improvements in Dimension, this limitation is even more frustrating. Interestingly, Photoshop version 22.2, the last version with full 3-D tools, allows this functionality, so I keep an old copy handy. One word, Robust update  I just installed the beta 4.0 what a great experience, I'm so amazed with all the material included, I have been on the prerelease version for a couple of weeks and wondered about the materials, will they stay once beta is over. Next step for Adobe is to add few changes to Adobe Illustrator to be able to put out .obj objects in order to use with this great update to Dn. For an example if I want to creat a wrinkled plastic bag, the best tool in the Mesh tool in Illustrator but you can Not export an obj from illustrator that has a mesh applied to it. If you haven't fixed this issue the solution is to install Photoshop version 22.2 which is the last full version from Adobe that will support 3-D and then you can export to whatever form you want. Adobe will let you have 2 versions on your desktop but one at a time. ... View more

I agree it could be a reflection so first restart the computer. And then turn on dimension and see if the issue is still Persisting   Another thing you could try is use plastic instead of glass you might get the same effect. Doesthe illustrator file with the glass have two edges along the glass contour? that could be another reason why you're getting those reflections make sure you turn around your glass, with the orbit tool, all directions with all lighting Acceptable until you can and see all angles give you the results that you want.  ... I agree with you, Adobe support is not as good as it seems, most of the time it is a total waste of time, but  I learned to call in the evening after 8:30 pm, you will get a more senior tech, at that time in India it is 7:00am, when you call daytime in the U.S. you will get the tech from the nightshift, wich i found out they take you on a rabbit hole. Did you try to go back to an older version, before it was lagging, or try to install a fresh copy. And you said you are saving to the desktop, do you have lots is apps open? but if non of that works, I think you should try Adobe support, althiugh they might be waste of time. there was a new illustrator update today, maybe start with that.   ... Tell me the process of what you are importing,  are you importing a model you created in another app, or from online. you could do a test, since you are an Adobe user, export an object from Adobe illustrator, and open or import it in Dimension. your operating system is good👌 I was running Monterey last week and just upgraded to Sononma. I just tried to import an obj file Cmd+I on Mac, and I saw my imported file. do a test, by exporting an obj from Adobe illustrator and see if this works. another one if this didn't work, try to export a coffee bag or an object from Dn, save as obj file; it gives you the option to save, next open that same file from Dn and see if it imports.  at least you can narrow it down to is it the file or the software.  Yasir  ...
