"I really do not care if the change does not function for Mac OS users, that is really just their problem" In reality diverging platform versions quickly becomes a much wider problem for us all. Many users use both platforms, and developers of plug ins and actions develop for Photoshop not for platforms. With your 21 years of experience, you will also remember that up to CS5 we had to completely flatten and remove all incompatibilities from any document before being able to Save As a jpeg. Alt+Ctrl+S is much quicker. You already have the ability to turn off auto updates in the CC desktop. I would always recommend this anyway so you take an update at a convenient time rather than mid project, and you can check the release notes and forums for issues before updating. Dave

FWIW, for those users who still use named folders in Classic to organise their images, there's a facility in Classic which allows collections to be generated to replicate the folder structure. If the user does that then syncs the collections to the cloud (or migrates completely from Classic to Lightroom) those collections will then appear as albums in Lightroom.

Hi I suppose you may be correct, I may contact them to have a colored hard copy of books especially that they cost around $5 all. I learned that PNG may be just a fake extention for another format. Thank you all for honesty and help.

Direct save to jpeg was introduced in CS5 in 2010, to a considerable amount of fanfare. Boy, what a big hole that turned out to be. How they must regret that now that Apple made it impossible. Up until and including CS4, you couldn't save to jpeg at all, unless the file was 8 bit, flat, with no transparency or alpha channels. You just couldn't! And that's how every other application still works. If they had just done nothing in 2010, everything would have been business as usual and nobody would have ever complained. People's memories are really short.
