1. Log out of both Fresco and Illustrator, then log back in. This can help refresh the sync between the apps.

Currently, it’s not possible to directly transfer files from Illustrator to Fresco since Fresco only supports PSD files. However, here’s a possible workaround for better editability: 1. Prepare the file in Illustrator: • Ungroup all layers in Illustrator to simplify the structure. • Export the file as a PSD by going to File > Export > Export As and choosing the PSD format. 2. Open in Photoshop (Optional): • Open the PSD file in Photoshop, then save it as a Cloud Document by choosing File > Save as > Save to Cloud Documents. 3. Access in Fresco: • Open Fresco and find the Cloud Document under Home > Your Files to continue working on it.

Thanks for reaching out. Adobe Fresco is currently available for Windows and iOS devices. Unfortunately, the Lenovo Tab M11, running on Android, would not be compatible with Fresco.

3. Check Without Folio Keyboard:

4. iPad and App Details:

I tested this on multiple devices, including the iPad 10th generation, iPad Pro M1, and iPad Pro M4, all running iPadOS 18.2.1 with Illustrator 3.0.8, but I couldn’t replicate the issue. The color picker worked as expected in all cases.
Could you confirm:
1. Is this happening in a specific file or across all files?
2. Does this behavior occur in a new, blank file as well?

What Monika mentioned is important when working with PDFs created in Illustrator. Even if the file was created in Illustrator, if the “Preserve Illustrator Editing Capabilities” option was unchecked when the file was saved as a PDF, it can cause issues when reopening it in Illustrator. In such cases:
•Illustrator interprets the file as a standard PDF instead of a fully editable AI file.
•Embedded assets might not behave consistently in Illustrator.
For such files, editing in Adobe Acrobat is often the best approach for tasks like exporting or optimizing file size. Acrobat retains the file’s integrity as a PDF and avoids complications caused by Illustrator’s interpretation of the file structure. If that is not the case, please share the PDF and original Ai file with linked files so we can check on our end.

If enabling Smart Guides (Ctrl+U / Cmd+U) doesn’t resolve the issue, here are a few more steps to try:
1. Check Smart Guide Settings
Go to Edit > Preferences > Smart Guides (Windows) or Illustrator > Preferences > Smart Guides (Mac). Ensure that Alignment Guides and Object Highlighting are enabled.
2. Ensure you’re zoomed in close enough to see the guides. Smart Guides may not be as noticeable at lower zoom levels.
3. Verify that the layers or objects you’re aligning to are visible and unlocked. Smart Guides won’t work on hidden or locked elements.
4. If the issue persists, reset Illustrator’s preferences: (Reset Guide).
5. Create a new document to see if the issue is specific to a particular file.

Currently, based on reports and testing, the issue seems to occur primarily on macOS Sequoia when running Illustrator alongside certain screen-sharing or recording applications like Microsoft Teams.
Could you please confirm if you are using any such applications? If yes, I recommend:
1. Restarting your system.
2. Observe whether Illustrator continues to record your screen without any of these apps open or launched.
If the issue persists even after a restart and without these apps being used, it might be related to compatibility with macOS Sequoia. As a temporary workaround, I recommend downgrading your macOS to Sonoma, where this issue has not been observed.

In addition, you can try enabling Compatibility Mode and overriding display scaling for Photoshop:
1. Right-click on the Photoshop shortcut or .exe file.
