They are both individual programs (That are not part of the same program) and both contain their own unique serial numbers (Serial numbers went away with PSE 2025). Both require their own serial number. Click on your account icon in the upper right of this page. Manage account. Plans and payments. Products. Pease note that each product requires it's own unique serial number. If you do see a download/ serial number for premier elements that means you never purchased it. You will find your pruchases for PSE and Premeire Elements under the products tab. The image below is to just show the first 4 numbers of each program-- those have never changed.

Nop, you are basically out of luck. Adobe changed their policy on this early June of last year. Since it doesn't show up in your Adobe Products that usually means it was purchased from a place like the Microsoft store OR you purchased it using a different email address.

Alas poor Yorick, A lot are, a lot are not. I know what the capabilities are of both programs, so it is easy for me to say "Yeah, thats a cool video, but 25% of it won't work in PSE. When using the editor simply press F1. Many will to watch this guy, or that person, or buy into this series, or those lessons- do what makes you happy. Watching youtube video to learn something in pse does not make me happy so I don't watch them generally. I made this 3 years ago, it's pretty good for people(like me) who hate to watch youtube videos. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/jy8bzkekfu45z29988bgm/final-version-ch1-6.pdf?rlkey=mvfruuone3elih8fro5qixp2a&st=g6w6rjfu&dl=0 This introduces pse 2024. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/c3i1ie73iioap482oj59p/CH7.pdf?rlkey=3gy8f15iflc3age6ln8c2mnra&st=grxequ2j&dl=0 I've got pse 2025 buried somewhere, I'll dig it up.

I've seen this with other users. Something to consider: Changing your method of payment- a different card for example can cause this to happen. Also: Here in the U.S. credit cards are typically only good for 3 or 4 years- they expire and your bank will send you an updated one automatically. Your method of payment (an old credit card) may also have expired. You would need to update your payment method prior to the original credit card expiring.

Now I just uninstalled PSE 2025. I then downloaded it (PSE 2025) from from My Adobe account-- you gotta scroll all the wayto the bottom of your products page to see and find it. I redownloaded it to see what version of PSE I had in my products page. The latest version (pse 2025), with all updates and features? I downloaded it from my Adobe account products page. I knew you could do that with most of the previous versions, just wasn't sure about pse 2025.

In previous versions (Prior to PSE 2025) You typically had to wait till an update was pushed out to you to receive it. With PSE 2025 I noted this morning there was a location you could go to and download the latest version, with the most current update. I hadn't really though about it- I checked and I was still running the original version- without any updates. I downloaded and installed from the link below and it is the most recent update- it even includes a feature I suggested some time ago. https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/release-note/update.html

Alas, poor Yorick! I know these, these thumbnails of which you speak : A image of infinite jest. If it be now, 'tis not to come: if it be not to come, it will be now: if it be not now, yet it will come: Just check what the arrow is pointing to, it a system setting, nothing you do in pse.

ARM64 is a type of cpu- unless you have it, any downloads associated with it are useless. Honestly: People won't be able to tell if its not raw, nor will they care. Based upon your timelime, don't worry about it right now.

Install this, then forget about it. You can't "get signed up" for anything you don't choose to. It has just worked for some users, Adobe not even really sure why it works. https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/download/creative-cloud

Doing this will get you ACR 17.2 From https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-in-installer.html Quit all Adobe applications. On macOS, double-click the .dmg file to mount it. On Windows double-click the downloaded .zip file to unzip it. (Windows might unzip the file for you.) On macOS, double-click the .pkg file to start the installer. On Windows, double-click the resulting .exe file to start the installer. Follow the on-screen instructions. Once installed successfully, close the installer window. Navigate to the following folder: (This is where users goof up, make sure you go to the location inidicated) On macOS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-ins/CC/File Formats On Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC\File Formats Copy the Camera Raw plug-in (just the .8bi file) from the CC > File Formats folder that is mentioned in the above step. Navigate to the following folder: On macOS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-ins/Elements<Version Number>/File Formats On Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\Elements<Version Number>\File Formats Replace the existing Camera Raw plugin in Elements<Version Number> folder with the plug-in that you copied earlier.

One thing I've learned over the years: You can't please all the people all the time. "well I don't see why they can't add (whatever feature)- seems like it would be a few mouse clicks, and tada!" "I pay good money, I need these tools, I have a client...."- what users probably did was tell a client "Yeah, I can do that in Adobe Express," yet they do not understand the limitations of the software. I use photoshop, or photoshop elements for tools that Adobe Express doesn't have. It pretty much boils down to this: many requested features are found in other Adobe products, and adding really cool features costs money- something users complain about-- imagine if Adobe express suddenly raised their rates by $5 a month- people would complain. I pay $10.85 a month for photoshop- for most new users it's about $15 a month. The tools are out there, but you gotta be willing to pay for them. Photoshop Elements excells at gradients. The plugin that ErinF mentioned? I find it to be comically bad-- it appears to only to be able to add gradients to an entire page and not a simeple image- such as a square. That alone makes it borderline useless. It's called Adobe Express for a reason- it creates things quickly.

Explain to me this Riddler: Why do I have every version from, pse 2010 to present, working just fine? I uninstall and reinstall most of them quite frequently. They work because I signout / deauthorize them before I uninstall them. Below is a screenshot from PSE 2010, a version I used just yesterday to help someone in a FB group.

Your expectations are not very realistic: The laptop sizes are pretty dang small (12.3 in, 13 in, or 15 in)--- I would never attempt any editing on a screen so small. The editing screen contains quite a bit on information- all on a size smaller than a peice of legal notebook paper. You can get a 24" monitor at Walmart right now for $70. That's about your most realisitic option. It will make things easier on your eyes.

You purchase and download PSE 2025, that's how you "resolve"- it's your only realistic option. Everything else is you try is just you spinning your wheels and not going anywhere. Adiobe can't reset your installation count. You have been told "too many computers"- that's pretty much it. Here is a link to a free 7 day trial. https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements/free-trial.html

That appears to be photoshop, don't really matter though. You probably need to change your screen resolution. I've got photoshop as well, the latest version, with my big monitor I dont have any issues. I could increase the resolution of my monitor , but I don't because things were to dang small. 1920 x 1080 is a standard default setting. Changing your screen resolution in Windows is a straightforward process. Here’s how you can do it: Right-click on your desktop and select Display settings. In the Display settings window, scroll down to the Display resolution section. Click on the drop-down menu and select your desired resolution. The recommended resolution is usually marked. Once you select the resolution, you’ll see a preview. If it looks good, click Keep changes. If not, you can revert to the previous resolution. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask!

You can look at them all day long, however, I think you are setting yourself up for a truckload of frustration-- the error logs can be daunting, and actually contain about 99.98% of info that the average user doesn't need to be bothered with- To access the import failure log for Adobe products, navigate to your computer's application support folder, usually located within the "Adobe" directory, where you'll find log files detailing import attempts, including errors and failures; you can typically open these log files with a text editor to analyze the specific reasons behind import issues within your Adobe software like Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or Lightroom. Key points about Adobe import failure logs: Location: Depending on your operating system, the log files are usually found in a path similar to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers (Windows) or /Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers (Mac). File format: These log files are usually plain text files with a .log extension. Interpreting the log: Date and Time: Each log entry will be timestamped, allowing you to pinpoint when an import failure occurred. Error codes: Look for specific error codes or messages within the log to identify the cause of the import issue. File details: The log may also include information about the file that failed to import, such as its path and format. How to access and analyze the import failure log: 1. Open the log file: Navigate to the appropriate Adobe installation directory and locate the relevant log file. 2. Use a text editor: Open the log file using a plain text editor like Notepad (Windows) or TextEdit (Mac). 3. Search for errors: Scan the log for keywords like "error," "failed," or "unable" to identify problematic import attempts. 4. Investigate error details: Analyze the specific error messages and associated file information to understand the cause of the import failure. Important considerations: Product-specific logs: Different Adobe products might have their own log files specific to import functions.
