@karen_1255 wow.... that's insane! Sometimes, printers have their own default settings for the number of copies. Check your printer's properties or preferences (usually accessible through the Print dialog box or the control panel) and see if there's a setting for default copies. Is it possible that an outdated or corrupted printer driver could be causing this issue. Try updating or reinstalling your printer driver. Also, Acrobat allows you to save custom print settings as presets. Check if there's a preset with 38 copies as the default. You can manage presets in Acrobat's Print dialog box (look for an option like "Print Presets" or "Advanced Print Setup"). https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/acrobat/using/advanced-pdf-print-settings.html

@Simply tech Have you tried viewing the comments on a desktop version? This problem is likely due to how web browsers handle and render PDF content, especially when it comes to interactive elements like comments. The built-in PDF viewer settings within Edge or Chrome might have options that affect how comments are displayed or loaded. Your browser might be loading an outdated or cached version of the PDF that doesn't include the comment data correctly. So, go ahead and clear the cookies, cache and history.

@jenna_6182 please refer to this post: from both @S. S and I https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/using-adobe-fonts/m-p/15197203#M499395 Sometimes if a PDF was created on a different system with fonts that aren't embedded with editing permissions or are not available on your system, you may encounter difficulties editing the text with those specific fonts. Not all fonts allow embedding due to licensing restrictions. Some fonts may only permit embedding for viewing and printing, but not editing.

@Naomi Yasuo The "Make overlap into bleed" option is only available when you specify an overlap value greater than zero. This is because bleed requires an overlap. In the "Overlap" field, currently set to "0 mm", you need to enter a value greater than zero. For example, try "3 mm" or "5 mm" and the checkbox will become active and you'll be able to select it.

@yani_1758 did you click on 'see the log file for details, it may provide more specific details about the issue?' The error points to a specific temporary file (PSQu3yKm.tmp) that Acrobat is unable to utilize. This often means there's a problem with file permissions, disk space, or the temporary folder itself. To fix this, first, ensure you have sufficient disk space on your startup drive, as temporary files require space. Then, try simplifying the document you're printing, as complex graphics or fonts can strain resources.
Not knowing where you are with this issue, I would consider resetting Acrobat's preferences to default settings, as corrupted preferences can cause errors. Delete them and restart Acrobat as Acrobat will create new preferences. If this step doesn't work, check for any updates, as system-level issues can also interfere with Acrobat's functionality. If that still fails, try reinstalling Acrobat to rule out corrupted installation files or conflicts with other software.

@ScottecLEMG hopefully you were able to fix the issue on hand. If not, do you have a recent system restore point from before the update, try restoring your Windows 11 system to that point. This might revert Acrobat to the previous working version. Or, here is a page with download links for previous versions of Acrobat Reader, https://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions

@Brandon30777049z4qc A workaround is to embed the font directly into the PDF during the conversion process. In Acrobat's PDF creation settings, look for an option related to font embedding and ensure that it's enabled for all fonts, including your custom font. This should force Acrobat to include the necessary font data for bold and italic styles, preserving the formatting in the final PDF. If this doesn't work, you could try outlining the heading text in PowerPoint before conversion, which converts the text to vector shapes and eliminates the reliance on embedded fonts.

@Simon_Evans5564 chances are either you or the vendor is using dated Acrobat. So, if they are creating the PDFs and you have the latest and greatest software, they might be using an older PDF standard that's not fully compatible with your app's latest updates. Have a look at the 'Document Properties' - Command D on a MAC, Control D for a PC, and under 'Description,' is the Application. See how or what application they are creating the PDF. I would contact the provider and inform them of the problem. They might be able to provide alternative versions or investigate the cause of the errors.

@Me123456 when you said, 'you paid' for Acrobat, did you buy from 'Adobe.com' or a third party website? I would log out of your Adobe software. I would also clear your browser's cache and cookies, that are interfering with the authentication process. Then log back into your adobe.com account. Verfiy the settings in your profile. Double-check that the email used is the one you entered correctly during the account creation process. Even an extra space or character, it raises flags. If it still persists, temporarily disable any browser extensions that might be interfering with email delivery or authentication. And use a different browser or a different device (e.g., your phone) to see if you can receive the email. I know some government forms don't show up properly in Chrome, but are fine in Firefox or Edge.

@Peter_hi-line2024 It sounds like a recent update on your tablet has introduced a frustrating issue where selecting text in a form field makes it unreadable and prevents you from editing it directly. This forces you to delete the entire field's content before entering new text. This is likely a software glitch related to how the update handles text rendering or input within form fields. To fix this, try restarting your tablet to clear any temporary software conflicts. Also delete the cookies, cache and history as well. If that doesn't work, as a last resort, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the app from the App store to revert to a clean version and potentially resolve the issue.

@Stephen Z. did Acrobat Pro worked before you installed the 'proprietary plug-ins?' If so, then it's likely the proprietary plug-ins themselves might be interfering with Acrobat's memory allocation or causing conflicts. Because you mentioned that you installed 'some' — meaning more than one proprietary plug-ins, I would try removing the proprietary plug-ins one by one: This will help pinpoint if a specific plug-in is causing the problem. I had some issues with Chrome updates, and Acrobat and Illustrator kept creashing, so I removed the cache of it. Locate and delete the following files: com.adobe.Acrobat.Pro.plist and Acrobat Pro Prefs (folder) . Relaunch Acrobat Pro. This will create fresh preference files.

@colin_2144 there are two messages in the first screenshot: The error code 401 specifically indicates that the server is rejecting the request because the user is not authenticated or authorized. In simpler terms, the system doesn't recognize the user's credentials or permissions to perform the upload. The second message indicates a failure to establish a connection with the server, which could be related to network issues or server-side problems. So, I would make sure that user is using the correct application that allows them to e-sign documents. Have the user log out and log back in to their Adobe account within the Acrobat desktop application. As well, go to adobe.com, and have the user verify that they can log into their adobe account on the Adobe website too. That should clear the issue... But, if they are able to sign it, but just can't send it, I would then temporarily disable any firewall or antivirus software to see if they are blocking the connection. If disabling resolves the issue, adjust the firewall or antivirus settings to allow Acrobat to communicate with the server.

@Suhailo Mamadniyozova this may be a cache issue. Clearing your browser's cache and cookies can sometimes resolve issues with online services and account information. Also, go to your account settings and verify that your name, email address, and other personal information are correct and up to date. If there are any discrepancies, update them accordingly.

@Saberman007 The multiple instances of Adobe AcroCEF are likely due to sandboxing, plugin isolation, caching, and resource management. While nine instances might seem like a lot, it's not necessarily a cause for concern unless you're experiencing performance issues. You can clear the cache, restart the computer, and get updates to see if that changes the process

@Mickey5FB9 sorry, maybe I am reading this incorrectly... When you add a watermark to a PDF in Acrobat and then remove the selection boxes, you're essentially modifying the original PDF document. So, if you remove it, then it won't be shown or print. Watermarking doesn't delete document data. The watermark is simply an overlay on top of the existing content. When you are creating the PDF, make sure the layer that contains the watermark is set to print

@chris_7954 for whatever reason, I thought of using 'bookmarks' versus 'cross reference links'. Bookmarks allow users to jump directly to a specific location in the document, regardless of their current position. Unlike cross-reference links, bookmarks don't require users to click "Previous View" multiple times to return to their original location. They can simply click the bookmark again or use the bookmark hierarchy to navigate back. How to add bookmarks to PDF files: https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/hub/learn-to-add-bookmarks-to-a-pdf.html Page thumbnails and bookmarks in PDFs: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/page-thumbnails-bookmarks-pdfs.html

@patrickl95501232 eeck... I would use adobe Cleaner from Adobe themselves. It can fix many common problems (such as removing old Adobe software, cleaning corrupt installation files, and fixing your host files to establish a connection with Adobe servers). https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html Once that is done, go back to adobe.com, and install the application from Adobe's website, not some other third party website. Unless, you have the original CDs

@Adept_art8647 I don't see the "Convert to Image" button in Acrobat? You can export the image
Go to File > Export To > Image.
Choose the desired image format from the options (JPEG, PNG, TIFF).
Adjust any settings as needed (e.g., resolution, color management).
Select a location to save the image file.
Click Save.
Acrobat will then convert the PDF pages into individual image files in the chosen format.

@Sputnik1! When you edit a scanned document (especially if you use OCR to make it editable), Acrobat might treat the cropped area as a new object or image, separate from the original scanned page. This can interfere with the uncropping function. Immediately after editing and encountering the uncropping issue, try using the "Undo" function (Ctrl+Z or Cmd+Z) to revert the editing changes. This might restore the original cropping behavior. If that doesn't work, try Tools - Print Production - Set Page Boxes. In the dialog box, under "Margin Controls," try clicking "Set to Zero" to reset the crop margins.
