@Laura37191504gq47 Unfortunately, you cannot directly hide a state within a component in Adobe XD. But, you can either hide the hover action in the layers or change the opacity.

@Laura37191504gq47 top of my head, no, I don't think so. I quickly created a component for a button. And I was able to change the background of the hover state to a different color without ungrouping the component. I do use the layers to change colours for my components. Still in the 'Design' stage

Please try removing the application using the steps suggested and reinstall the Acrobat trial version with the link shared below:
-Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://adobe.ly/3AepqEM). -Reboot the machine -Install Adobe Acrobat from the following page: https://adobe.ly/3LNMuwQ.

Please try updating the application to the latest version available. In Acrobat, go to Help > Check for updates. Check if that resolves the issue. You may also refer to the information on the latest update on the following help page: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/release-note/release-notes-acrobat-reader.html.
If the issue still occurs, share the current Acrobat version on the machine.

@Tompson curious to know what OS you are using. Many of my students and I do use either a MAC or PC. But, I do suggest my students in using at least 16gigs or more for RAM, and a i7 or better, for Mac user an i7 to M4 will be aweseome. None of my students so far has had any issues with XD yet. If there is any lag, I do tell them to close any other applications that they aren't using, and to close off any open browser tabs. I had one student, who had always slow internet, and when I jumped onto their computer, they literally had over 1,000 tabs open. They didn't believe in bookmarking pages!

@ha3890757632m9 under 'All Tools' or 'Convert' select, "Export a PDF' and you should see the different settings. I am using Acrobat Pro. I do not think you can use the standard Acrobat Reader for export a PDF to the different settings.

@Laura37191504gq47 I feel like you need to create a hover state with toggle states.
create your menu links. use individual text boxes as it will be easier to prototype
select the menu links and make it into a component (Command K for the Mac, Control K for the PC). I like to rename my coponents, so I will double-click on the component and called it menu or navBar
default state is the black type. beside is a +. Click on that, and you should get a hover state and toggle state.
Hover state is what happens when you hover over the text. Toggle state is an action, maybe takes you to a different page

Hello, Ever since I updated illustrator 2025, it's not been opening. Earlier, it would open if i opened it the thing on the macbook pro before opening other applications. Now, it just freezes at initialisation. Macbook pro Sonoma 14.6.1 250.69 GB HD is showing up as: - 82.47 GB for applications - 50.39 GB as photos- although i took backup and deleted all pics from iphoto - 5.12 GB as documents - 84.64 GB systems data - 18.55 GB mac OS - 7.84 GD free I don't have a single file saved on my macbook pro. Everything is on an external hard drive. I have got another harddrive for scratch disks which I am unable to set up for illustrator as it won't open. i was able to set it up for photoshop. I have run malware scan and nothing. deleted cache files. What can I do to open illustrator and use it? My work is suffering please let me know. thanks and regards Yaminnie

@Aintelligence go to the Illustrator Preferences, Keyboard shortcuts, Command K (Mac) or Control K (PC). Click to 'Show Indic Options.' I tend to do this before I open any document. Since the beginning of time, whenever I do a change in Preferences, I restart the application. @JasonWT curious to know why as I am teaching Acrobat to my students, making sure any issues ahead of time... When I am in Acrobat Pro, I can click on 'All Tools' and select Fill & Sign' or the 'Pen Tool' Signature Either 'Add a Signature' and type a name in or 'Add Initials' Be advised that that 'Fill & Sign' content in a signed PDF can't be modified in Acrobat Reader: This is on the latest version of Acorbat Pro If by any chance if you did indeed updated to the latest version, but maybe the previous version worked fine, you could 'Disable the new Acrobat' ... mine works...so, I am not selecting this... hopefully this works. Also, try logging out and logging back in too. Sometimes, I have to do that on my end as I have two different adobe accounts!
