this post is not a correct answer.. it is wrong.. 3 times tested wrong.. there is no difference in the file format or codecs if the video is done for 10 seconds or 20 seconds.. the first one is working and the second one is stalled.. lightroom is corrupt.   ... View more

For me, this is now fixed in LRC 14.2. No amount of deleting prefereences, deleting "Helper.lrdata", reseting anything worked in 14.1.1, so very happy 14.2 fixed it for me. ... View more

I just had the same message. Again. This time I closed LrC and backed up, but as it was quitting LrC crashed. Gave me the usual "Send Report to Apple" message which I did. I'm using macOS 15.3.1, but this "Refining...." message has popped up on other systems. I'm using LrC 14.2. Not sure what other system info you need. There are several reasons why bumping an old thread is not the way to go. There have been multiple major updates since this thread was started six years ago, and it is highly unlikely that the cause of a similar issue from back then is still the cause of your current issue.  This is not just limited to Photoshop. Swift update, I have updated Photoshop to 26.3 and its still the same. However, on a different MacBook that I have, on 26.3, I can see the Gradient controls, the other Macbook is on Seqouia, but I am not willing to upgrade my main macbook as I had some  non-compatible driver warnings for logitech and possibly a few oither things in the upgrade process, and there doesnt seem to be a log provided of the exceptions thrown during the upgrade process. ... UPDATE: 2025 Okay I have been struggling with this for years and never know a fix for it until now. In the bottom left corner of the screen where it displays the document size. I noticed that it was updating as I was backspacing.  It hit me like a bolt of lightning. Of course! It was lagging because of the calculation (3mb), so don't come in here saying my file was too big :p. Clicking the little arrow to the right and chaning it to selected too, anything other than document size has fixed the issue. Hi there @rickd21996267! Does the flash cover the entire screen? Graphic glitches often point to issues with the GPU, like outdated drivers. Can you try going to Edit > Preferences > Performance (Windows) and uncheck "Use Graphics Processor"? After that, restart Photoshop and see if the error persists. Generative Fill is a super versatile tool, so you might get different results depending on how you use it. If it's generating objects, it might be because the selection wasn't perfect. For example, if you're trying to remove a person but haven't selected their shadow, GenAI might try to fill in something else for the shadow. You only need to switch to NFS if you want it to work on Mac Sequoia. It works fine on Sonoma. Its only not working on Sequoia. I have two macs and I have done on the developer cycle and its ahead of the stable release and it still does not work. I have alerted both Apple and Synology but I don’t think its synology I think apple broke SMB in Sequoia at least with the way it uses lightroom classic and synology nas. My catalog is on a local mac ssd but the files and pictures go to the synology NAS using a 10 GB connection. ... View more
