Yes, you should get one image per frame of your project. That is why it is called an image sequence, in this case a PNG sequence. To export PNG sequence correctly, use File > Export > Export Movie... and from Save as type choose PNG Sequence. For PNG settings, choose: Check the PNGs to make sure the camera-related problems are not visible there. PNGs should look exactly like what you see in the program. If you have audio, either export it separately as well or use the audio from the video with the broken camera in your video editor.
