Well, this did not work for me either. I was finally able to figure out where that folder was. Are you even able to click on the download buttons for the filters? When I open the neural filters, I says "Checking for availablity of filter" Then it says "filter is not available" There is a gray cloud with an exclamation point, and the download button is grayed out. At no point is the download button even clickable.

Ist of all, My wacom has the latest driver. 2nd, I am unsure what you are trying to tell me to do with all these pictures. If you are telling me to use Windows ink in the Wacom driver, I do not like doing that, it makes the pen behave erratically. My pressure works PERFECTLY in PS 2020. If you think I need to make all these changes to use pen pressure in PS 2021, it almost does not seem worth it. when I can just use the old version. (2020). This PS version is a nightmare. The only one thing I like is the new select and mask refine hair button. Neural filters not working, pen pressure not working. I am very disappointed, Adobe!

I really do not think it is illegal, since it is part of a program we are paying for. Why can't they make it downloadable thru Creative Cloud?

At least your download button is blue. My download button is grayed out, always. Says filter not availble. The only 2 filters that work are the smart portrait and the haze one.

My download button is just grayed out. There is definitely something wrong with these neural filters. Cannot even download them at all.

I restarted photoshop several times, deleted the contents of that folder several times that you mentioned above.. I restarted my computer several times. I reset my prefs. I uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop 22. The filters are listed. The only 2 that managed to download and work are the smart portrait, and the depth aware haze. Those 2 are functioning. The rest have the gray cloud with an exclamation point saying This filter cannot be found. I am getting mighty frustrated that i cannot use the neural filters.

I cannot download the style transfer filters. There is a black cloud with an exclamation point over it that says this filter is not available. It also says that for the skin smoothing filter. Please help!

The page where you see all your recent files in PS (I think it is called the home page?) is not looking right. I only see some grayish rounded rectangles on the left side, a small PS logo on upper left corner. Also a zoom magnifying lens in upper right corner. That's it. When I upgraded to the latest version one or two days ago, it was looking fine again. There was text in the upper left corner, and all my recent files were showing. Now it is back to being as I have described above, What gives? Does anyone else have this issue? Photoshop works fine otherwise. I am on Windows 10, and I have the latest PS version.

I would not use MS Paint, if I were you. Why are you using that program? If you have Photoshop, just do all your image creating in there.

I lost my pen pressure due to a PS update. I tried turning on Windows ink, removing the .txt file (the configuration file or what ever- says use wintab) I restarted. Still no pen pressure. So I put it back the way it was, restarted, no pen pressure. So I need to take Photoshop back to before the pen pressure broke. Does anyone have a link to do so? Do I have uninstall and reinstall? Thanks!

I am trying to use the liquify tool. I make the changes to the image. When I push "commit", the button changes color like it should work, but nothing happens. It does not return the result to photoshop. The only thing that works is to press :cancel" ,then of course, my result is canceled. I have the latest version of PS, and Windows 10.

The last upgrade of PS and CR (camera raw), I decided in a knee jerk reaction that I preferred the old version of CR, and I downgraded. I now want to reupgrade it to get used to it and really give it a chance and to see if I like any new features. Creative Cloud is showing CR as being up to date, so I cannot upgrade from there. Is there a way to download a file to upgrade CR like I did to downgrade it? Thanks!

Create a .txt file and name it PsUserConfig . In the txt file, paste or typr the following 2 lines: 1st line: # Use WinTab 2nd line: UseSystemStylus 0 Then save the file to your desktop. Copy and paste the .txt file into your main photoshop folder. Once the file is in there, you can turn off Windows Ink and you can restart Photoshop and pen pressure will work normally. I always keep a copy of the file on my desktop in case I have to replace it.

So, I found a tutorial. I was going about it all wrong.I took the brush preset I wanted to use, made any modification, and I then clicked on the folder for my new brush group. Then I had to click on the "new brush" icon at the bottom of the panel, and I was able to save my brush in that folder, along with all settings.

In Photoshop 2020 Windows 10 I am trying to put together a personalized fur and hair brush group, so I do not have to keep searching through numerous sets to find the ones I want. I am taking brushes from sets I already have, and dragging them into my new group, and renaming them to a more descriptive name. Sometimes, I am making modifications like spacing, pen pressure settings, etc. to the brushes in my new group. However, these settings are not being saved like they would be if I created the brush from scratch. Is there a way to save the old brush with its new settings, under a new name, in the new group? Am I missing something? I exported the group of brushes when I was done, and reopened them, but the settings had all changed back.

Yes, why can't they still be preset manager in addition to having their own panels? It was easier to manage brushes in preset manager.

It may be one of your plug ins causing an issue. I had the same problem. I removed all my plugins and added them back slowly until Photoshop failed again, and I was able to determine through more trial and error which one was the culprit. Don't ask me which one it was though, I can't remember, LOL.

I have a C drive that is small. I have all my programs installed on the D drive. I have 2 external hard drives for photos, data, things I am saving, etc. I want to add certain .pat files to the presets /patterns folder in the PS 2020 program folder and have them show up in my patterns panel. It works for brushes, but not patterns? Then I tried to click on the side thing with 3 lines and chose "import patterns" It was looking in "C:\Users\Vicki\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2020\Presets\Patterns". I am not storing these particular patterns there due to lack of HD space. How do I get PS to either automatically import my patterns in the preset folder within the photoshop 2020 actual folder, or at least know to look for them there each time? If it works for brushes, why not patterns? Also, is there a limit to how much I can store in those preset folders? I want to store items that I think I will use frequently. Thanks for the help.
