Hi, sorry for the trouble. Double check that you signed into Lightroom with the correct ID. The one you used to sign into this forum is only signed into a 7 day trial which began today and makes me think you have another ID you have been using. Sign in at Lightroom.adobe.com and let us know what you see.

Thanks for the report. We were able to repro. Work around: Choose View > Loupe Overlay > Show from Menu bar and it will work normally.

I was able to delete 66 images at once using the steps you provided. Perhaps a screen recording would help to figure out what happened. If you have a paid account you could try deleting the app and reinstalling it. (DON'T do this if you have a free account)

Could it be that you are holding the volume button slightly too long? It will take pictures in rapid succession if you hold down on the button. Some phone cases make it difficult to feel the difference between enough and not enough pressure. ...just looked at the video and it seems you didn't touch it too long... Maybe the case is holding pressre too long. What happens if you take the case off?
