I'm having issues trying to copy text from a .pdf and paste. Trying to paste to word and nothing happens. When I paste into a cad. document in .rvt I'm getting repeating sentences and random extra spacing. Is there a streamlined way to copy and past text into a word doc without these issues? Using Acrobat DC Thank You.

I can't bear having another tech support session with the adobe crew. I have AT LEAST 20 HOURS on the support and chat line and my problem is unresolved. Creative Cloud and adobe apps are unstable to say the least on my pc. (laptop is fine). Creative cloud opens sometimes, sometimes not. If I can get apps to show up,(rare), I try updating and it never goes past 85% and stops. Now, every time I try to open photoshop or lightroom it crashes on opening. I've had CC for at least 4 years and it has NEVER worked. I just have to find back door ways to update apps. Can't open any new fonts from typekit. I can't even uninstall any apps or Creative Cloud. Was hoping someone can refer me to a way to completely wipe out all Adobe products on my hard drive and re-install. Preferably with presets but I'll take what I can get. Thank You

Wow. for whatever reason after about 10 tries it will all of the sudden let me drag presets into the source monitor?? Anyone know what I might have been missing? I did have the source monitor selected when dragging in before but it wouldn't let me drop it in.

Is it necessary to drag footage into the timeline in order to add saved color presets? I'm sure I've applied color edits to footage in the source monitor before but I can't seem to get it to work. Also, for whatever reason, my video plays back great in the source monitor but the same vid stalls intermittently in the program monitor? Thank You

I'm trying to create a pano for the first time in Lightroom CC and it just freezes on "creating preview" Doesn't even start on the status bar. Nothing happens. I've tried with different sets of 3 photos and get the same result. Tried different settings in Panorama options and get the same freeze. The images are all DNG files shot at 105mm with my canon 5D MkIII Thank You

I just bought a new intuos pro and am trying to get the hang of things and, when I go to select the little triangle to expand the tool selections I just get a circle around the tool and it doesn't expand. What am I missing? I have to hover over the triangle with my mouse to get it to expand. Thank You

HidekiTakemura- Just some 700kb .aep stings from video hive. Rick, Thank you for the comprehensive breakdown. I'm sure this workflow will be very helpful. I was getting very frustrated yesterday because these files are so small and I was under the impression that once I previewed in full res, the disk cache would enable faster renders on the second renders and so forth. Not the case at all. In fact, when I added an 8 second audio file I was trying to do extremely minor tweaks and literally waiting for a 20 minute render. I'll keep swinging for now. Thanks again

I have to think I'm missing something here. After downloading a couple 8-10 second logo stings and trying to manipulate them, I can move text up one pixel and hit preview and have to wait 10 minutes for it to render. Change or move a logo and re-render takes 10 minutes again?? If this is how After effects operates normally, it would be a joke to even think about using the software. Yes I am a newbie. but, when creating my own files from scratch I don't have this problem. Why am I having it with ANY 10 second sting I try to edit? My disk cache folder is set to an external hard drive with 180gb disk cache allocated. Can someone help me out on this. 16mb RAM, Windows 7. Thank You

Yes I'm bouncing back and forth from the new title feature and legacy title and not getting a real grasp of the best approach. I would love to see a video of a good title workflow with the new features but I have yet to find one. I have a titles workspace, the essential graphics panel, titles panel, legacy titles, and the effect controls panel to work with titles and I'm really not sure which is best. I'm going through the most recent PP Classroom in a book which isn't up to date with the new Title features. So I'm confused on why I am adding a title, which I created all of the text inside the safe zone and, when viewing it on the program monitor, no matter what size I set the screen to, the text is not fitting inside the image window??

Thanks MTD. Actually I haven't paid for them yet as I inquired on their support how I might get these free as promised but I will definitely make backup copies. I was aware that I could import the wav files and apply them as you suggested. But, In my head, if I have something like this I might want to use frequently, it just seems so much more convenient to have it on hand in every project in the effects panel.

Yes I did Meg the Dog and I signed up for a free trial which was supposed to include 2 free downloads. I added them to my cart and was unable to get around the charge ($5 ea.) But once I acquire the .wav files, I wasn't exactly sure how to create audio effects with them. As in, add them to my effects folders. I'm sure it's simple, if someone can give me a nudge in the right direction. Thanks

Ya it's a little confusing Jim. I can choose ICM and get the profile to load on the advanced tab but when I go back to preferences the paper choice is still incorrect. So i don't know if advanced overrides the pref page or what, but it doesn't grey out or anything. Still looks like the incorrect paper is loaded. I have a support ticket with Epson to help but I thank you for your efforts.

With that said Jim, the profile I need is obviously already in my system since I can choose it in lightroom. I've found where all of the lightroom profiles are coming from. Now I'm just trying to figure out how to load certain ones into my printer driver options. Can anyone guide me in on that? Thank You

After updating my printer driver (Epson Stylus Pro 4800) the profiles are different than they were in the old driver. I no longer have an option for photo quality inkjet paper _mk I'm reading the latest lightroom book and it says if you're color managing in lightroom, you should always make sure you have the exact same paper profile you have set up in printer preferences and turn off color manage in printer. Confused because now I'm forced to use "presentation paper matte" in the printer for lack of a better choice. But that option is not available in lightroom profiles. To add to this, I'm not seeing the option to turn off color manage in printer after installing the new driver either. Calling Mr. Nash,.... Thank You

I don't think so Jim I've tried 4 different settings now and got the exact same error message every time. I put together a different video yesterday that was very similar with no messages, no issues.

Can anyone tell me what would cause this message during processing. You can see my settings in the background. This video did export, and is ok in youtube. But when I play the copy saved to my hard drive it stalls. Strange thing is, it's a low byte timeline. Mostly stills and only a little over a minute and a half long. Thank You

Well MtD, As I'm told by my brother, who is a little more knowledgeable in PP, The first object inserted in the timeline is what determines the final frame size. This seems really dumb and I know in older versions I was able to set everything up when I started a new project. Now I guess it's auto set up by whatever the first object is. In this case it's my company logo which is 740 x 508 px. I have no idea where the 1680 x 1120 came from. Or how to change that. Does this sound like I'm on the right track to you? If so, what would the easiest fix be short of re-doing the vid from scratch? Thank You

I noticed there's no preset for 720HD 60fps. So I just chose 720HD in the presets but I changed the Frame Rate in the basic video settings to 60. Assuming this was the best choice. The video on youtube was rendered at HD 1080p 23.976fps but even when I rendered with these settings I got the exact same result.
