wow. i hate rebooting, too. but i only have to wait a few minutes. i have to pull out my cell phone and do something or go get something to eat or drink during reboot. i have nothing to suggest to make your reboots more tolerable.
the cc desktop app does not degrade over time. there's always something on users computers (eg, security software is a prime suspect) causing the problem.
and yes, cc resets are quick and easy. even a repair is pretty quick. but once you get to the last step, you're correct, that is far from quick and easy.
