You can also prepare simple Action. Just go to Action Panel - Window > Actions
Open uour PSB file
Create new action and recodrd three steps. Start with save as Tiff - be sure not tu change name
then save as JPEG - also dont change name and finally close PSB image. Stop recording Action
Now you can celect all files in Bridge and go to Tools > Photoshop > Batch command and perform your just prepared action

hi,
I always prefere grouping than layers during my normal work
But sometimes - for eg. maps - it's much better to draw streets, rivers, lakes, texts on different layers
for my students - layers in Illustrator are a little bit difficult to follow
Sometimes people try to arrange objects on different layers and its a problem
Somtimes they work on wrong layer and it's also a problem

Try edit images and not to change name in action - just leave it with oryginal name
Use save or export or even Batch save command but without changing names
You can do it later eg. in Bridge

It works exactly the same way like before. You don't need to use Shift to scale proportionally
Maybe try to reset Photoshop default settings?
press Ctrl/Cmd + Alt/Option + Shift keys during opening Photoshop Application. If you see dialog box about reseting preferences - confirm it - would helps

Use Ctrl+Alt+Shift kays pressed together during opening Photoshop and Illustrator. Window about reseting preferencess should appear. Confirm it

I think it'ss impossible directly, but...
Try to prepare new A5 document with spreads and use Page Palette to move and arrange pages 3 x A5 and 3 x A5 again
trhen go to your original document (unlock aal if neeaded) and just select all and copy (Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C) then go to new document and Paste in Place your design (CTRL+ALT +SHIFT+V)
Use it on both spreads
Maybe it's the simplest way?

Yes kstohlmeyer1 is right,
Try to set Crop settings right. Be carefull with dimensions and resolution
Check also your new document and your picture resolution.
If you merge documents size (inches, cms) are not important. Check pixel dimensions - it's matter

I think you can not to use Caligraphic Brushes with Blob Brush tool.
Blob Brush it's not a real brush - it "paint" with fill and your brush is prepared for strokes
You can select object sreated with any tool (also Blob Brush) and add any brush for strokes. But you cant paint with Caligraphic Brush with Blob Brush

You can try to sample your color using Bucket with Alt key pressed. This way eyedropper appera and you can sample your choosen color and then release Alt key and use it normal way to paint different paths

You can try different options here. For example be sure your monitor use STANDARD settings for display your content. You can also adjsut brightness on your screen to lighten your images. You can try to use your monitor profile. Find it, install it and use in Photoshop's Color Settings preferences.
You can try to lighten your images to adjust their dispkay to much your printer. There are many options here.

If it's possible use Illustrator - maybe it's a good idea to prepare such hader in Illustrator - Just use Live Paint method to adjust the border of Background and Text I think - it's impossible to make it on real text in InDesign The easiest way is convert to outlines and dovide your text intu two pices But it's not a text - so better choice is using Illustrator and Live Paint

you can try to use Illustrator to make charts from data file If you don't need charts - you can use Variables in Photoshop and Illustrator or Data Merge option in InDesign to prepare nice design.
