Ernst,
How does it look when you print?
Which font?
Is it l as in letter or I as in Illy?
Which versions?
Does it happen under any moon?

John, thank you for the advice. I will consider it.
Fast as usual, now that I am back, maybe even faster than before. And I only had to login once in one forum after restarting.

Thank you, Kath. This is what I had not recognized: http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.3bc0fb97/
I keep an eye on it, and my mouth shut.
So now I have full forum access. Thank you again.

Well, it was not because of the servers: both harddisks broke down so I had to replace and start anew. I am still in the process of recovering contents and settings.
Can anyone state the URLs of the New Forum Announcements, the Web Design, and the Lounge? I cannot find them through the Forum list.

It has been hot and dry, so the lawn is full of yellow hawkweed, opening their flowers to the sun in the morning and closing them again in the afternoon.
And now that the early harvest has begun, so has the rain, and it is cooler under the clouds.

I am all for colour books and conversions.
I merely pointed out that RAL colours may be slightly less unambiguous than CMYK.
Sorry about the ambiguity.

Claudio,
It seems that there are important and intriguing differences in the expression of uncomfortableness in different languages.
In English, any actual blame/shame is put on others, as in thanks to XXX, shame on XXX, or expressed more woolly, as in it is a great shame.
Or the feeling is expressed as a suitable degree of regret, sorrow, or grief, which is no more an acknowledgement of being to blame than is the Spanish way.
I post here to keep that other thread clear.

Now that we have lost the spammer support, here is something not translated into Spanish, http://www.ppo.bugge.com/; there is something about it in French, though, http://www.eppoa.org/docs/PRESS_RELEASE_EPPOA_29.05.2008_fr.htm; the one that should translate it into Spanish is on maternity leave.

So there are some good corners.
Maybe the Americas, or parts of them, have the major issue.

One of the strange things is that the slowdown seems to have its favourite victims, or areas.
As I have said before, Kath and I seem to sit in the good corners; I am in the northern part of CED (CET in winter).
I am in the forums regularly, distributed over 12 to 18 hours, mostly between 9PM and 4PM PST.
I do not remember waiting more than a few minutes, maybe about five when it has been bad, no worse than I have been able to go to different forums and posting while waiting for the others.
But I still remember the nightmare.

Maybe it is a rare kind of ADD: when it feels a deficit of our attention, it is thrown into disorder, poor thing.

For the first time in a long time, the forums are slow here in CED; mostly about a minute or two for every post.
Switching between forums and using time to write and post makes it work tolerably.
Edit: Quick again.

Hi Bert. What do you think of the Resumen?
>Queen Who?
The Queen that rather shocked me at her speech for her son at his 50th anniversary, starting with: "I would like to"
So you are right, Claudio; and the shock may explain your overestimation. Were you born during the reign of Carlos Ibáñez del Campo?
