Thanks. I still need the details from this dialog if you can please post a screen shot of what yours looks like: This may be a result of your GPU only having 134 MBVRAM. One thing to try: Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and enable "Older GPU mode (pre 2016)" - Restart Photoshop. Does the problem persist?

it has has also often presented the crash log to report.. I reported several times Hmm. I can't find any reports. Did you enter your email address in the dialog? I can't search for them without your email address. Be sure to use the email address you use to log into this site.

How did you reset your preferences? Try restoring your preferences using this manual method: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually This method will also remove presets, and other setting which might be causing a problem. If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back. If it does solve the problem, I would like to get the folder of settings to try and figure out what is bad with them.

Does freeze and your have to force quit? Or does it crash out completely and you see the crash reporter dialog asking you submit your crash log?

Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere: Restore your preferences using this manual method: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually Does it work correctly? If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back. If restoring your prefs doesn't help, it may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

In certainly eight out of 10 cases, I sent the automated crash report. You are either not including your email address or entering and email address into the crash reporter dialog that's that different than the email address that you're using to log in here. No reports come up when I search with your email address you use to log in here.

@bhartman102890 Can you send me your two PSD files? The one you are copying the style from and the one you are pasting into? Post a URL to the video using CC files or dropbox, YouTube or something similar to share the files. Global Light settings (angle and altitude) will use the child document's settings (the document you are pasting into) unless you uncheck Global Light before you copy the style. Not sure why your Depth, Size, Soften settings aren't preserved, I'm not seeing that behavior. Hoping having your two files will help me reproduce. Thx.

If you quit and relaunch the does it work? Looks like the layer is locked. If you click the three dots (...) at the bottom on the bar on the right side and select "unlock layer" does it work?

If you restart the computer, does Photoshop launch and run correctly the first time? Is it just subsequent launches that fail after the first time you quit Photoshop?

I'm not able to reproduce this. The Option key temproarily turns the Gradient tool into the eyedropper tool and I can sample colors. Can you share the PSD file you're having trouble with? Post a URL to the file using CC files or dropbox, or something similar to share the file. Post steps for which layers to select prior to Choosing Edit > Auto-Blend Layers... Also a screen screen shot of your settings for this dialog would be helpful:
