I am working on a Dell Latitude Windows 8.1 laptop and have been using Photoshop CS6 (and earlier versions before CS6) with no problems for a long time. Now suddenly, I have a trail version of CS6 Extended and do not know how to get back to the CS6 version I have purchased and been using. I know this subject was on here last year but have not seen any updates since then and there did not seem to be a solution posted back then. Was a solution ever found? Any suggestions what to do?

Yes. You can download, install & activate on up to two of your personal computers (e.g. a laptop and a desktop) as long as they are running the same operating system (e.g. both Macintosh or both Windows. Creative Suite licenses are platform specific.). You can find more details within the End User License Agreement at: http://www.adobe.com/products/eulas/#desktop

I miss the option of creating a PDF presentation that was available (under FILE-Automate)before CS5. The options that have replaced it in Bridge are not ideal for me. Before I was able to create a PDF presentation to put on disk for clients to scroll down and view images easily for selection. This has been moved to Bridge under OUTPUT and has been modified. I don't want contact sheets or cards etc.The contact sheet makes the images too small for on screen viewing and the other options aren't great either. I would love to have it back. There may be some other way of achieving the same thing but I haven't found it.

If you are a North American customer, if you use your school issued email address <yourname@yourschool.edu> from a qualified institution during the process, the validation is nearly instant and no other documentation is usually needed. If you do have to submit documents it may take up to three business days to receive confirmation of your proof of eligibility and your serial number from Adobe. PLEASE READ: You can still install and use the product *immediately* by selecting the 30-Trial option during installation.

Thanks for the update Jeffrey.
That's a step... but still... Copying a color from an object to change the color of another object is still taking many steps. Do you know if copy pasting a color from the swatch only, or in any other way, is planned?
Thanks

Thank you. I have been using LR4.2 since it was first made available as a RC (Releas Candidate) and the Keyword Fix present in this release has been a life saver (one I reverted my KW's back to "normal" from the Kludgie work around I had to implement after installing 4.0.
Thanks again for listening to your user community and taking action on this item

You can still use Flash (now Animate CC) it exports to HTML5 so it works in a browser on desktop or Phones! You can reduce the size of your GIF by limiting the colors, or by limiting the amount of frames in your animation. So it will not be as smooth, but you will still get some movement. With a GIF, you can also use the "Lossy" option which will degrade the images, but its the JPEG algorithm of removing pixels to reduce the file size. SO removing color, removing frames of the animation, Not sure about fade transitions on your GIF's, not sure if I heard of that. You can just make a NEW frame, and lower the opacity, then make a another new frame and lower its opacity.... Try it with Adobe Animate and export to an OAM! cheers! mark

To have a task bar button for each document is standard behavior for many applications (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel do the same). In Windows 7 the buttons are always grouped. I can imagine that it could be inconvenient if you are using Windows XP, but the behavior is not specific to Photoshop 6.
The issue of this thread was that it was impossible to move the documents correctly unless the taskbar was docked to the bottom of the screen or auto-hidden. That issue indeed appears to be fixed in the 13.0.1 update.

Hi Henrik,
3.6 > 4.1 RC1&2 simply does the upgrade correctly in the first place, so no repair is needed. It's only catalogs that were upgraded by 4.0 (which contained a catalog upgrade bug) that need to have the curves restored. The curves are already correct if you upgrade directly from 3.6 > 4.1.
Thanks,
Ben
