Had this happen twice now, the lasso tool wont accept any more clicks after first one. So end up stuck dragging a selection line around and cant get out of it. Im using Wacom tablet 6.4.2-3. using windows ink. Thankyou, yove made my point for me. Your RTX3060 is massively understressed by the workload you are asking of it, so why insist on trying some janky configuration on your nice modern powerfull PC? . I dont think you isolate Photoshop from the intel gpu just by keeping it on the monitor connected to the Nvidia card thats an over simplification. By using the on board graphics on the cpu you are making that do more work, so it will draw more power and run hotter , it wont maitain the high boost core clock speeds for as long, which are very beneficial to photoshop compute speed. So you might be making yor system less efficient. Nvidia ditched dual card SLI set ups for gaming, so what does that tell you about the benefits of running two identical GPUs let alone a discrete one and cpu graphics. The main reason as others have stated not to run the intel graphics is that it is likely to cause the exact issues that you are suffering from . Thats three reasons not to. The puget benchmark plug in for photoshop will allow you to test for any gains you may or may not be getting from having both running.

Ive had this issue twice now with windows 10, where all of a sudden jpeg files get saved as .jfif.(Usually when downloading images from whats app plug in in opera browser.) . Im wondering if its an something to do with photoshop updates as noticed right after doing the last update. Not 100% sure the smoking gun points in adobes direction, might just be coincidence.

If the printer is 12-15 years old I think it has served you very well and it is time for a new one. Ive found with ink jets that unless you use them regularly you will get blocked nozzles as the ink dries out in the head. Personally I wouldnt use 3rd party inks but people do. Do you get any banding? Reduce the print quality down to its lowest dpi it will show up more. Im not completley familliar with your printer, there are pigment inks and there are dye based inks not sure what you have there. Mine is pigment based and anything with ammonia in it such as glass cleaner seems to disolve the ink. BUT anytime you touch the head you risk damaging it as it is a very delcate fine mesh. Are you printing on the right side of the paper? If you open it in Microsoft paint or photo viewer and print it do you get the same results?

Can you post these two windows, if you are are using the correct settings, ie disabling colour management in the print driver and letting photoshop colour manage then I would suggest youve either blocked the head in some way using 3rd party inks or havent purged them from the system yet. You can still have a blocked or damaged head even if you have good nozzel check pattern, its only a rough guide for the user. Im just in the process of replacing rather expensive head on my Epson 9900 that is printing perfect check patterns.

Hi, bit confused with this, is a Quadro RTX4000 really no longer supported its only a 4/5 year old card? Im using the latest studio driver from Nvidia 528.19 which is DCH. I can seem to drag a layer that is not in the canvas area anymore, the blue transform lines and dots show up but am unable to move the layer by dragging it (wacom tablet), can move it OK if I grab it somewhere on the active canavs area, or use the arrows keys, but grabbing anything hidden off canvas just draws a selection box. In the example below, the grey area works as expected, but the black area I just get a selction box.

Ive just developed this issue as well, the windows "open with" dialoge to define default application did pop up recently which might have been the start of it. As others have stated only occours when opening file by double clicking on a file in windows explorer. Im suffering similar issue, seems to happen when I utry to define the area for object selection to select with lasso or retangle option. I completely removed Nvidia driver using DDU and reinstalled the Nvidia driver, made no differance. Can someone point me in the direction of the thread that asks for the done button to be removed please. As it was such an issue for some people to remove Id like to read about their reasons for having it removed. Like many have said you didnt have to use the done button, but you cant use it if its not there. I did try search but nothing came up.

Another issue with this which may cause confusion for new users is that there are now two uses of the word "edit"in the lightroom UI. Ive always associated edit with a right clicking on an image and opening it in photoshop via "edit in" contextual menu .Now we have an edit button that returns to Develop module, or is it the edit module now?

I agree, this adds extra steps to my workflow sometimes, having to sync the files back to zero saturation and vibrance. A check box in preferances to not adjust vibrance and sturation when using auto would be great.

No, you can use the windows file structure to organise your files, been using it like that for years as I have customers work in seperate folders. I only use collections if I want to share images online or if I want to group files together from differant folders, saves duplicting them or moving them.

Re question 2, when you import the files change the option to "add" at the top of the import window. Lightroom will then see the folder you created in windows file explorer. If it is set to move or copy, the destination panel on right side of window will have drop down which allows you to put all imported files in one folder or seperate folders by date.

Yes it looks odd, but if you look closely at the icons you can see whats happening. The yellow area is the collections panel with its title bar missing it seems to get tucked up under the drive panels . I use a wacom pen and tablet so havent got a scroll wheel, but draging the scroll bar doesnt cure it. Thanks for the reply.

The top of the collections panel keeps disappearing under the other items above it in the left panel. Been like this for the last few versions for me. Just updated to this new version without the done button. For me its counter intuative, especially if it is the last adjustment made, your hand is automatically going downwards the filmstrip at the bottom to select next image to work on . My arm hasnt gone up and down as much since my teenage years! Also when using the healing tool in healing mode you have two little white sticky plaster icons next to each other , one finishes the operation one doesnt. If your ploughing through hundreds of photos this becomes quite an anoyance.
