Right click on the Path layer thumbnail, and select Blending Options from the pop up, to open the Layer Style dialog:
In particular, note the Blend If section. It can operate on all channels (Gray), or Red, Green, and Blue individually. The sliders on the controls below can be split, by Alt-dragging one side, and the blend will occur over a range.

I don't know if this will work, but if you look at your Adobe account, under the Plans and Payment tab, there is an Activated Devices section, with an option to deactivate.

The various Lasso tools are in the same slot in the toolbar. If you click and hold it, it opens a small menu of the choices. Also, Shift+L will cycle through the lassos.

If you add a point to each leg, equidistant from the corner, and then delete the corner point, you will be left with an open shape. Click on one of the end points to pick up the path, and then the other to close it.

> In all seriousness, what is wrong with Ctrl/Cmd + V to paste in a new layer? It's a single command.
I don't think I've ever needed a blank document the size of the clipboard. I very frequently want the clipboard to open in Photoshop. Why should I enter a keystroke to avoid something I never want?

My first idea was just turn it over, like the Cake Slice Illusion (one slice gone, or one slice left?):

I'm not sure if this is what you're after, but I tried converting the image to Lab mode, inverting the Lightness channel, and converting back to RGB:

One way is to run the Ruler tool along one edge of the photo, followed by Image > Image Rotation > Arbitrary. The angle from the Ruler is automatically loaded. Click on OK, and the image is rotated with extra canvas added to accommodate the rotation.

Maybe one could have a script that would get the locations of the recent files and put them in a list, where they could then be opened in Windows Explorer to be renamed or deleted. Deleting a file in the list might cause glitches later, so the script should maybe rebuild the recent files list after the editing.

I saw on my Adobe account page, under "Plans and Payment" there is an Activated Devices tab, with an option to deactivate a device. I used this to clean out any residual activations on my retired [but still (barely) functional] old computer. I'd always thought activations were per app, not per device.

This has been the case for years. You can avoid it by temporarily changing the resampling to Nearest Neighbor.

Once a file is saved as anything other than a .PSD any type is no longer editable. You can add new type, though. The Lorem Ipsum is placeholder text, and is replaced once you start typing. You can turn that off in the preferences if you don't like it.

You could use the Vanishing Point filter. I would isolate the subject on a separate layer, and feather the top edge of he paneling. Then the clone stamp in the Vanishing Point will follow the perspective. I'd recommend using a small soft brush, working in sections, changing the sample point frequently to deal with the differences in lighting.

Several years ago, Adobe Sketch had a feature where you could save a graphic as a brush. When you painted with it, it would apply the graphic to follow the stroke, similar to Illustrator's Art Brushes. They would be a natural for this sort of thing.
Adobe Fresco appears to have something similar, "Pixel Brushes", but I don't know if they work in the same way, as I've never used it. I still have several Sketch brushes in my CC library, which cannot be used in any existing software. You can, however, see a sample preview of them. This is from a tube of Carmex Lip Balm:
