If the effect is the same for all the other clips do one clip, right click and copy. Select all the other clips, right click and Paste Attributes.

When there are blocks in the video usually means the heads are dirty. So you might want to use a cleaning tape. To avoid out of sync capture with scene detection on.

For Youtube use one of the presets under H264 in the export settings. They work just fine. You only have to adjust the framerate to make it the same as the source.

Not if your final destination DVD is, its going to get re-encoded to mpeg2-dvd. For BD and DVD i make an iso first, test the navigation on the computer. Burn a RW with Nero and test this on a standalone then burn it to the final DVD or BD with Nero.

In Premiere i could not fix it but After Effects has the Optics Compensation that works wonderfull well with the GoProHD. Although you lose a bit of quality. For 1080 set it to about 60-65 and for 720 80-85. Lens Distortion set to reverse. Before After

Dip to Black/White is kind of double sided transition on its own. It performs differently in CS 5.5 opposite to CS5. Added as a single sided transition it produces a very unexpected result. Added to the e.g. left side of a single clip it now starts clear, fades halfway to black and becomes clear again. Dip to Black and White is therefore imo (or its a bug) only suite as double sided transition. Any way Stan made a very clear video tut.

No wonder its bad, not a very good codec. Try using Lagarith or None, mind you they will be large files. Uncheck Recompress. I find it strange there is no Microsoft dv codec. I do not know if there is a way to get the codec. However i do know Mainconcept has a DV codec but its not free. http://www.mainconcept.com/en/products/apps-plug-ins/codecs-conversion/dv-codec.html There is also a Panasonic dv codec, but i have been reading you cannot install it op W7.

Double click on the title either in the timeline or project window and it will open. Select text and go to Fill section and change the colour by clicking on the color picker.

Workaround. Use the Remove Effects option on the clips (select or lasso multiple clips) View timeline and then go one step back in history.
