I think it sounds easy from a user point of view, but complex for the back end. You are not talking about a form but an interface for selecting a specific response depending on a calculation based on the answers from the form. If you would have a document to point for for each possible answer it would not be difficult but tedious. Could you please expand on how the answers would produce the appropriate response. If a question is give a number between 1 and 10 that could give 10 answers and therefore trigger 10 responses? (in decimals are not allowed) if you have two such questions the possible variations of answers is 10x10. You need to multiply the number of questions by the number of possible answers to see the number of variants of relevant answers you need. If you press "D" and paint do you get black? (D is default which gives black on white). I am not seeing values and so it is difficult to say what colour you are getting but it should be fully possible to get black in photoshop. Since selections are 256 levels there are 128 levels of selection inside and 128 levels selection outside the marching ants. The "No break" is keeping those words together, as it should. Now the reason your text is disappearing must have to do with some other setting. Is there any paragraph setting keeping lines together or the next paragraph that is keeping with previous. Learning to work with rules take time and InDesign is following the rules you have given, just you may not know what your rules are. Using the story editor (Command why?, "cmd-Y" or "ctrl-Y" on PC) will let you know what text is after and what styling is applied. Also the simplest way to avoid hyphenating a single word is to add a discretionary hypen at the start of the word. Did you try rebuilding your indesign preferences (shift-ctrl-opt-cmd as you start indesign) sometimes preferences have a hard time when there are OS or App uppgrades. Just so that we can help to track the problem whet language versions of Mojave and InDesign are you working on? (International versions are tested more than localised versions). Even though this is not an Adobe problem it would depend on your workflow. Printers that have both booklet and stapling usually want the documents to be printed as single pages, and use a combined imposition and finishing programme. It would normally be called "multiple finishing", "multi fold"+ staple or something like that. Lines are a little tricky because they can be defined as hairlines which means the printers/RIPs thinnest line. There is a tool to fix hairlines, and also there could be mathematical rounding up of units causing thickening when editing in a PDF. Do you have any values on the thicknesses before and after editing? Did you try to use the Fix Hairlines tool in the Print Production tools? Interactive PDFs are tricky because some of the interactivity is dependent on flash technology. What format is your video? If I remember correct mp4 (H.682) is most stable and the file has to be small enough to embed in the PDF. If you can I would recommend publish online as an alternative. That allows you also to embed video from a video streaming site. The videos need to be flash compatible and the computer you are viewing the PDF on has to have flash player updated. The only really stable PDF interactivity are buttons (remember there is no hover on a tochscreen so stick to tap or release event) and hyperlinks. ... View more

What are the original source files. What applications are involved. (Cmd/ctrl-D will let you know how the file is made). Even if a file is made as a PDFx4 there could have been slicing occurring upstream. You would need to follow the whole workflow to find where the file is sliced. It is a very hard process to give general since it is something that happens "occasionally"… you need to look for a pattern. Is it a particular client. You are able to print from other applications? Your video is very fast, and all seems normal. Is this an indesign document? Can you print it from indesign? I know sometimes if complex art (groups containing a variety of objects) is copy pasted from illustrator to indesign they become a limbo pdf (they become PDF objects not editable in indesign and not visible as link, not even embeded link) These kind of objects can sometimes cause a print error that flushes the queue. Try to print another PDF, one that has printed on your computer before, this to eliminate the possibility that the error is file specific.  If that doesn't work what has changed? Did you upgrade anything in your operating system, if so check that you have the latest printer drivers. Try deleting your printer and creating a new one (seems your account is not able to read and write where it needs to) Go to System Preferences Printers & Scanners. Delete (or deactivate the printer), add a new Printer and create a new print queue for the printer. Some other tests: Workaround: Try to "Print as image" in Advanced settings. This changes the document you have open. It is not a preference, it does not change the settings. My guess is that you have the same Colour settings on all your apps so when you check your own PDFs there is no conversion, all looks good. But your client/customer has different settings and therefore there is a conversion between their CMYK and your CMYK. Decalibrate removes the embedded ICC of the objects (in the specified scope) so that they become "Device CMYK". I would recommend that you use a PDFx1a or that you use a PDFx4 setting where you DO NOT EMBEDD PROFILES if you don't want colour management to take place. Colour management is a large field and cannot be taught by a post. This was a fix and cannot replace proper education and training. It can also be settings on your RIP, that can't be excluded. I cannot know how your RIP is handling "Output Intent", but normally it is ignored if the Output Intent is compatible with the Print conditions, and should only be used when repurposing or proofing. ... Are you using PDFx4? Normally there is colour management happening, possibly without you having made a conscious desnicion. Check that text is Device CMYK. Go to "Print Production" Tools, choose "Convert Colors".You can fix this by choosing Text and "decalibrating" it will then retain the CMYK values but strip any ICC profile associated to it. If text is RGB text checking "Preserve Black" and "Promote Gray to CMYK Black" will help. This panel has many under appreciated goodies. If you want to control it from InDesign (you may have a document that keeps changing) and you don't find it practical to fix in Acrobat you could convert the non printing text to a button and uncheck printable.
